Job Description:

 Manage and monitor all export/import shipments

 Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries.

 Supervise logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.

 EXIM document processing and complete banking

 Organize warehouse, label goods, plot routes, and process shipments.

 Respond to any issues or complaints.

 Research ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.

 Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.

 Evaluate budgets and expenditures.

 Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.

 Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.

 LC opening and tracking of non-fund based limit for import

 Checking of buyers' LC applications/LC Draft as per the sales contract.

 Should have thorough knowledge regarding the clauses required for Bill of lading in terms of letter of credit or buyer terms, Certificate of Origin, Invoice, Packing list, Draft, Inspection certificate, Insurance Certificate or policy.

 Responsible for EBRC closure and LC administration for export

 Responsible for all compliances with licenses, banking, DGFT and customs.

 Handling various INCOTERMS like FOB, CIF, DDP, DDU, Demurrage /Detention etc.

 Build relationships with leading shipping forwarders and shipping lines for preferred rates for the company export markets.

 Updating and Communicating with customers on the shipment status, documentation and payments.

 Laisoning for all import/export activities including inland ports, CHA, transporters, banks, marketing, purchase and plant team.

 Sharing analysis and escalating key points on export reports.

 Timely processing of EXIM bills, month end provisions and complete accounting

 Keeping track of all government policies of lndia and countries we are dealing with for EXIM with respect to FTAS, MEIS, Duty drawbacks.

 Performs costing of all import shipments for goods in transit in the consignment data base.

 Co-ordinates for inspection and necessary survey in case shipments arrive in open/torn/wet/damaged condition.

 Attends inspection of damaged goods during transit at airport/seaport along with Insurance company representative.

 Obtains short lading certificate from Customs Authority. Files Insurance claims and follows up for payments/credit note with the insurance company

 Obtains all attested legal documents necessary for exports from Chamber of commerce and industry.

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented MIS & Costing professional with over minimum  5 years of experience in Costing, MIS, SAP, and Product Costing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Costing, Product Costing, and financial planning proficiency in SAP ERP systems. You will play a key role in optimizing costing methodologies, driving insightful reporting, and ensuring accurate financial planning for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Costing Analysis & Reporting

• Perform detailed product costing analysis, ensuring the accurate calculation of standard costs, variances, and margins.
• Develop cost models and perform cost analysis for new and existing products.
• Work closely with the product development, manufacturing, and procurement teams to track and manage product costs.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis and highlight any discrepancies in cost structures.

2. MIS (Management Information System) Reporting

• Prepare and deliver monthly MIS reports on cost, financial performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management.
• Create and maintain automated financial reporting tools to streamline MIS data extraction and presentation.
• Design customized reports and dashboards for various departments (Finance, Operations, etc.) to provide insights into cost management and efficiency.

3. SAP Costing Management

• Manage and maintain costing functionality within SAP, ensuring that data integrity and accuracy are consistently upheld.
• Collaborate with SAP teams to ensure accurate and efficient integration of costing data across the system.
• Implement cost-related improvements and enhancements within the SAP environment.

4. Product Costing & Profitability Analysis

• Oversee the establishment of product costings, ensuring alignment with manufacturing and procurement processes.
• Conduct regular reviews of product costs and identify areas for cost optimization.
• Perform profitability analysis by comparing actual versus expected performance, providing recommendations for improvements.

5. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in the preparation and review of annual budgeting and forecasting processes, focusing on cost analysis and financial projections.
• Provide cost forecasts based on market trends, historical data, and production plans.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with operations, production, and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and timely reporting.
• Provide costing insights to support strategic decision-making for new projects, product launches, and cost-saving initiatives.

7. Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvements in costing methodologies and MIS reporting.

Develop and implement best practices for costing, reporting, and data management to enhance overall efficiency.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Costing, MIS, and SAP.
• At least 3 years of experience in Product Costing or similar roles, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proven track record of delivering accurate and actionable financial reports.

Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in SAP (preferably SAP S/4HANA or SAP FICO).
• Strong knowledge of Costing techniques, including standard costing, activity-based costing, and variance analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and other financial analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• The employee will be Spocsperson for all back office activities for one of our client
• Responding to queries via mail and inbound calls.
• Generating bulk offer letters and salary slips and sending them on mail
• Documentation , updating of details and onboarding of received data in master file.
• Verification of bank details.
• Sharing and maintaining database of Esic and PF to employees.
• Updating Nominee details and family details of employees
• Any other back office and data maintenance activities as required in future.
• Payroll Data Sheet Maintenance where verifying the attendance and salary details including its ESIC , PT , PF Calculation etc.

Key Skills Required

• Excellent hands on practice on working on Ms Excel
• Excellent knowledge of Pivot Table , Vlookup , Conditional formatting etc and shortcut key formulas
• 30 -40 wpm per minute typing skills are mandatory
• 1 -2+ years’ experience as database management or MIS Executive
• Candidates who have experience in customer service while maintaining database and working on excel will be preferred
• Satisfactory communication skills in English to respond queries on mails.
• Person who is dedicated towards his work and understand his duties
