Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS PTM/SCM Functional Consultant with 8–10 years of experience in Oracle Supply Chain Management, with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Cloud Inventory and secondary expertise in Oracle Cloud Costing.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience working in Oracle Cloud environments, with the ability to understand business processes, prepare functional documentation, support technical development teams, and work on integrations, migration objects, and reports. Prior experience in Oracle EBS is preferred, while strong and recent Oracle Cloud SCM experience is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional expertise in Oracle Cloud Inventory, with Oracle Cloud Costing as a secondary area.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle Cloud SCM functional solutions.
• Work as a Functional / Techno-Functional Consultant across Oracle Cloud Supply Chain processes.
• Configure and support Oracle Cloud Inventory and Costing modules based on business requirements.
• Prepare detailed functional design documents for RICE objects, including reports, integrations, conversions, extensions, and other custom requirements.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams and provide functional specifications, clarifications, and development support.
• Support the design and implementation of custom integrations between Oracle Cloud and boundary applications such as WMS, 3PL, and other Supply Chain applications.
• Work on integration requirements specifically related to Inventory and Costing processes.
• Support data migration/conversion activities, including defining migration requirements, data mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
• Provide functional support for custom reports and interfaces, including requirement analysis and functional validation.
• Participate in solution design, testing, defect resolution, deployment, and post-production support.
• Understand end-to-end Oracle Cloud SCM business processes and their impact on Inventory and Costing.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, integration teams, and other functional teams to deliver solutions.
• Support SIT/UAT activities and assist in resolving functional and integration issues.
• Ensure proper documentation of business processes, functional specifications, configurations, test scenarios, and solution designs.

Mandatory Skills

We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne SCM / Manufacturing Functional Consultant with 6+ years of hands-on experience in JDE Supply Chain and Manufacturing modules. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in manufacturing business processes, JDE configuration, implementation, enhancement, testing, and production support.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, manufacturing and supply chain teams, and technical/development teams to translate business requirements into effective JDE solutions and drive improvements across manufacturing and end-to-end supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional expertise in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne SCM and Manufacturing modules, with strong hands-on knowledge of manufacturing business processes.
• Configure, implement, enhance, and support:
• Manufacturing
• Shop Floor Management
• Product Data Management
• Inventory Management
• Requirements Planning, including MRP, MPS, and DRP
• Work extensively with Bills of Material (BOMs), routings, work centers, work orders, production scheduling, material issues, completions, and shop-floor execution.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and conduct fit-gap analysis to identify appropriate JDE solutions.
• Prepare functional specifications and translate manufacturing and supply chain requirements into scalable and effective JDE configurations and solutions.
• Support JDE implementations, enhancements, testing, production support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Work closely with technical and development teams on functional requirements, customizations, integrations, testing, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, planning, procurement, inventory, and business stakeholders to improve:
• Production planning
• Material availability
• Inventory flow
• Shop-floor execution
• Overall operational efficiency
• Support end-to-end integrations and business processes across Manufacturing, Inventory, Procurement, Sales Order Management, and Finance.
• Ensure consistency and integrity of master data, transactional data, and business processes across JDE modules.

• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend sustainable functional solutions.
• Prepare functional documentation, process flows, configuration documents, and user guides.
• Provide user training, knowledge transfer, and ongoing functional support to business teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to optimize JDE manufacturing and SCM processes.

Mandatory:

• Strong UAT / Functional Test Lead Profiles
• Must have minimum 7 years of overall testing experience, with at least 3 years of recent UAT experience, primarily in manual testing for large enterprise or government project
• Must have worked on minimum 2 national-level e-Governance, public sector, enterprise, or marketplace projects in a UAT lead or ownership role
• Must have 3+ years of team handling experience, leading 7–8 QA/UAT members, including task assignment, review, mentoring, and delivery ownership
• Must have complete ownership of UAT activities, including UAT planning, execution, acceptance sign-off, defect management, retesting, and regression cycles.
• Must have strong hands-on manual testing experience, with the ability to create test scenarios and test cases from BRDs, user stories, functional documents, and Figma/UI screens.
• Must be able to understand HLD/LLD documents and API specifications and perform manual API testing based on business logic.
• Must have BE/BTech/MTech/MBA (BSc/BCA alone is not acceptable; with Bsc/BCA candidates must have a relevant postgraduate degree MCA/MTech)

Preferred:

• ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or equivalent is preferred

Ideal Candidate:

• 8 + years’ experience in UAT, with at least 2 National-level e-Governance solutions / Enterprise platforms / Marketplace projects.
• Proficiency in test planning, execution oversight, acceptance criteria definition, defect triage, regression cycle management.
• Proficient in understanding business requirements by going through BRDs, User Stories, Figma screens to define test scenarios and test cases.
• Ability to analyze high level and low-level design documents, API specifications to identify the business logic developed and create test cases to test the APIs.
• Hands-on experience of defining high quality test scenarios, test cases with ability to review and guide the test team members in doing the same.
• Education/Certifications: B.E./ B.Tech. / MTech/ MCA/ MS (Computer Science/IT)/ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or equivalent required.

Job description 

• Provide expertise in Dynamics AX Finance functions.
• Provide in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics AX application and evaluates the customers business processes against the standard Microsoft Dynamics functionality.
• Responsible for documenting the business requirements which express what actions a solution must take and what outcome is expected.
• Taking ownership of the design of bespoke AX solutions, which may include complex integrations or significant module changes or even designing a new module Acting as the translation point between functional and technical teams so that solutions can be developed
• Effectively managing large work streams to stay within scope, meet or exceed project schedule and remain within the approved budget
• Guiding Project Managers and keeping them informed

6+ years of experience with setup, configuration, implementation, integration and testing of AX solutions using best practices implementation methodology and/or Microsoft Sure Step methodology
