2D Storyboard & Illustration Artist (Adobe Illustrator)
Job Description
We are looking for motivated and talented 2D Storyboard Artists with good knowledge of Concept Art, Digital Designing and Adobe illustrator.
- Work with script writers and creative directors to create illustrations, visual theme and art style for clients.
- Ensure that the vision and style of the video is consistently adhered
- Address notes from Director and Creative Supervisors.
- Collaborate with creative department heads and production to review goals and vision for the storyboards and discuss concerns, timelines and complexity, given the parameters of the schedule;.
- Responsible for completing all deliverables on time and according to production schedule
- Ensure that storyboard includes all final dialog, backgrounds, direction, and action by making drawing or text changes in description, dialog or numbering

What if I have some experience in Conversation Design or a similar field?
At this stage, we are considering candidates with up to 1.5 YOE in conversational design to start with us for this role.
How should we proceed?

No matter if you are just out of college or are a newcomer with some experience in conversation design, (user experience, content and copywriting, or even in the SaaS space) if your profile exudes that certain passion, we want to interview you.

What is our interview process?
We are bringing new ideas to the interview procedure. Creating a shortened version of the Conversation Design process seemed like a better solution than conventional take-home tasks because each applicant is given the same amount of time, everyone starts with the same amount of information, and everyone learns together.
Note: You will receive some basic instructions on how to prepare for our first round of interviews once we decide to move forward with it. We want to make things simple for you and practical for us as well.

About the Role:
As Product (UX/UI) Designer at Data Sutram, you will be responsible for collecting and translating user insights into delightful experiences. Ultimately, you shall create both functional and appealing beautiful features that address our customer's needs and help us grow our customer base. You will use your creativity and eye for design – along with your technical knowledge – to develop great experiences. You'll work with a product manager, communications strategist and our development team. Together you shall deliver UI mockups, prototypes, MVPs and final products.
In this role, you'll have the privilege of being the voice of our customers and translate their needs into user-friendly designs. You will have a direct impact on the customer's user-experience of our product.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
- Build page navigation buttons and search fields
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Create original graphic designs & videos for marketing Data Sutram products.
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Interact with customers to identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Create Style Systems for DS Products of the future.
Skill Requirements:
- You know how to distill simplicity from complex user requirements.
- You know how to use the tools of the trade like, Figma, Sketch, Invision, Photoshop, Marvel, Overflow.
- You have experience in Product Marketing.
- You have experience with user research and translating insights from research to your designs.
- You have great communication skills both when interfacing with customers as well as when working with your team.
- Video Editing experience. (appreciated)
- You are able to lead complex projects from scratch.
Experience:
2-3 years of experience in UI/UX design
- Development of Web and Mobile application
- Proficient in Figma and Photoshop, HTML, Angular, Material Design, jQuery, CSS, ES6, Bootstrap
- Good understandings and skills in User Empathy, Analytical Thinking, User Stories, Branding and Content.
