Role Overview
As a Technical Program Manager you will be responsible for coordinating and driving to completion tech initiatives that span multiple teams (dashboard, web-app scanner, new scanners etc.). This role required a strong Business analytics background and a solid understanding of Golang/Python and Typescript to lead the engineering team on such initiatives
This is a high visibility & high impact role, where you will be working with the founders directly. During the first 6 months of your role, you will be closely orchestrating and leading the 0->1 journey of two of our upcoming products in our platform along with the respective Tech Lead/Principal SDEs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise:
- Specialize as the go-to person for one or more technologies and take initiative to learn new ones.
- Design and implement medium to large-sized features while reducing the system’s tech debt.
- Lead architectural discussions and ensure seamless product integration.
- Be hands-on with writing code, contributing a good amount of time with development tasks as required.
- Be like Yoda - the wise and learned mentor who guides others through challenges. If the engineering team is stuck, you should be able to step in, and show them how it's done.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle along with the Tech leads & engineers in ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, monitor progress, and report on project status to stakeholders.
- Own and improve SDLC best practices across the organization.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Effectively communicate project goals, timelines, and expectations to cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with development teams, product managers, leadership and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
- Coordinate team members providing effective feedback and moderating discussions.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Handle unexpected challenges with resilience and adaptability.
Ownership and Operations:
- Own the production operation, ensuring timely delivery of technical projects and monitoring system performance.
- Evolve the architecture to support future requirements and define its SLAs.
Leadership and Management:
- Act as an Engineering Manager when required, providing leadership and guidance to the team.
- Manage the team members’ career, expectations, performance, and level of happiness.
- Define the right processes for the team’s maturity level, balancing agility and discipline.
Impact and Evolution:
- Make an impact on the whole tech organization/product engineer teams.
- Lead the 0->1 journey of upcoming products in the platform along with respective Tech Lead/Principal SDEs.
Quarterly Co-working:
- You would be expected to work for 1-2 weeks out of Bengaluru once every quarter depending on the requirements. Rest of the time will be fully remote.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years experience in Program Management
- Strong product & program management background preferably in dev-tools or infra product is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skill with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks across multiple projects with tight deadlines, aggressive goals, and ambiguity.
- Knowledge of application & infrastructure security is preferred - helps you stand out 😉
- Knowledge of Golang, Python, TypeScript are preferred
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure etc.
- Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams, including mentoring and coaching team members.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns. Experience leading change in large-scale systems.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about technical solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional remote teams.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality software products on schedule.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
