Job Summary:

The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant working environment within the printing facility. This role focuses on managing workplace safety related to printing machinery, chemical handling (inks, solvents), fire hazards, electrical systems, and general industrial operations. The Safety Officer promotes a culture of safety and ensures compliance with occupational health and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies specific to printing operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of printing machines, cutting equipment, binding machines, and finishing equipment.
  • Identify hazards related to inks, solvents, chemicals, paper dust, noise, and heat exposure.
