Sales & Marketing Intern
Location: Bangalore (in-office)
Duration: 6 months
About the Role
We're looking for a Sales & Marketing Intern to join Inflexion Analytics for a 6-month, in-office internship in Bangalore. You'll sit close to our Sales Director and Business Development team, and get hands-on exposure to how a specialist analytics consultancy actually wins and grows client relationships — from first-touch research all the way through to proposal, pitch, and handover to delivery.
This is a genuine learning role. You'll do real market and account research that shapes real outbound campaigns, help build the pitch materials that go in front of real clients, and get a working understanding of the full GTM motion of a growing B2B services firm.
The ideal candidate is a recent graduate who's curious, organised, and commercially minded — someone who's comfortable jumping between deep research, deck-building, light automation, and a bit of content and website work in the same week.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct market and account research on target companies and buyers to support the Sales Director and BD team.
• Help identify new business opportunities — potential clients, verticals, and partnerships — through structured research and market analysis.
• Assist in developing sales presentations, proposals, and pitch materials across a range of GTM strategies and service lines.
• Maintain and update data on internal systems (CRM, pipeline trackers, shared drives) and help keep communication flowing smoothly between the sales and delivery functions.
• Participate in meetings with prospects, partners, and internal management teams — taking notes, capturing action items, and following up.
• Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the BD team so the senior team can stay focused on high-value client conversations.
• Build lightweight low-code / no-code automations to streamline recurring sales and marketing workflows (e.g. lead enrichment, follow-up sequences, reporting).
• Support the maintenance of the company website — small content updates, publishing new pages and posts.
• Help publish content across the company's website and social channels (primarily LinkedIn).
• Produce short demo videos and other marketing content using AI-powered tools.
Qualifications
• Recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with sharp attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset — comfortable digging into companies, industries, and buyers, and turning findings into a clear point of view.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and/or Google Workspace.
• Proficient with modern AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) — you already use them daily and know how to prompt well.
• Comfortable picking up and experimenting with low-code / no-code automation platforms (e.g. Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar).
• Some hands-on exposure to content creation with AI tools — short videos, social posts, or web content — either through prior work, projects, or personal initiative.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, fast-moving team in a rapid-change environment.
• Prior experience in sales, marketing, or business development (through internships, projects, or coursework) is a plus.
• Basic familiarity with maintaining or updating websites (WordPress, Webflow, or similar) is a plus, not a requirement.
