Job Title: Xclarity Administrator Level 2 Product Field Engineer

Designation: Senior Software Engineer - Systems

Location: Bangalore

Job Summary:

The Xclarity Administrator (LXCA) is a centralized resource-management solution designed to simplify infrastructure management, enhance response times, and improve the availability of server systems and solutions. This role requires an experienced engineer to support Level 2 service cases related to LXCA. The primary responsibilities include managing customer case workloads and regularly reporting critical cases to team leads and upper management.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise to field teams for problem determination and isolation, and develop action plans to resolve client issues.
• Act as a technical interface between Level 1 Support and LXCA Development teams (Level 3 Development and LXCA Software Development).
• Develop and contribute to internal and external knowledge base articles.
• Support the product lifecycle from pre-product introduction to end-of-life, participating in pre-product activities and taking technical positions for defect deferrals when necessary.
• Collaborate with Software Development during the design phase to ensure product support, quality control, and client care are incorporated.
• Interface with client teams and customers to explain technical solutions and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Participate in regular case review meetings to discuss ongoing issues and solutions.
• Work collaboratively with virtual teams and management to ensure effective communication and problem resolution.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong software skills in Unix Shell Scripts, Database Administration - Database Admin, T-SQL, and Operating Systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Power Shell, and POSTMAN.
• Experience with x86 server hardware, including SNMP, IPMI, Redfish API, and CIM.
• Networking knowledge, including TCP, SSL, HTTP, and SSH.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in product engineering support, IT departments, server services, or customer service.
• Familiarity with Xclarity Administrator and related infrastructure management tools.
• Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Software is required.

Primary Skills – SDA, DNAC, Cisco ISE, Routing and switching and Troubleshooting NAC, 802.1x, Supplicant configuration, 

Switching Skills- IOS upgrade, SNMP, VLAN, STP, VSL

Routing Skills-OSPF, BGP, ISIS

Network Monitoring Tools- Cisco Prime (Integration, monitoring, and troubleshooting)

1. Must have hands on experience in Implementing NAC,802.1x (Wired & Wireless)
2. Strong knowledge on CAMPUS LAN Architecture and implementation
3. Hands on experience in Routing, Switching, Cisco SDA, DNAC, Cisco ISE, Assurance
4. Working experience in Cisco prime infra, Monitoring, Integration and Heat map generation
5. Should have detailed technical understanding, troubleshooting of STP protocols (STP, PVST, RSTP, MSTP)
6. Perform IOS upgrades on Switches and WLCs
7. Troubleshoot skills on Quality of Service, Multicast and HSRP, Dot1x protocols, IPSLA
8. Troubleshooting skills on Cisco VSS, VSL and stacking technologies 
9. Should have detailed technical understanding, troubleshooting and support of, Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), MPLS in an enterprise environment.
10. Perform root cause and troubleshoot network outages
11. Should be proficient in Wireless technology, implementation, and troubleshooting
12. Deliver reports on the actions performed.
13. Hands-on experience with the networking products Like Cisco 6800, 9500,9400,9300, 3800, 2960x and 3650 switches. Juniper EX8200,EX4200,EX3300 and EX2200 switches
14. Strong ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and Identify, diagnose, and resolve different types of network problems.
