Process Engineer II - MX Defines and develops the most efficient operational process methods, parameters, and procedures. Analyzes current operational processes to ensure they are consistent, compatible, and effective across functions and groups. Recommends and implements improvements. Owns and drives documentation functionality across working groups, not responsible for providing content however. Responsible for tracking and frequently auditing processes, procedures, and SLAs/OLAs to ensure operational success. Works closely with Business Analysts and Project Managers to drive process improvement. May also own and catalog tools used in operations by the various functional teams.
Key Responsibilities

• Defines and develops the most efficient business process methods, parameters, and procedures. 
• Assists with the development of process requirements, parameters, control plans, flow charts, and instructions. 
• Evaluates existing processes, and recommends and implements improvements. 
• Prepares extensive written documents, process workflow diagrams and business requirements. 
• Researches new solutions through leading industry standards for processes, software applications and systems. 
• Monitors the general technological environment and anticipates trends. 

Knowledge

• General knowledge of business processes and procedures. 
• Intermediate time management, communications, and organization skills. 
• Strong attention to detail. 
• General knowledge pertaining to the implementation, analysis and execution of corporate process improvement initiatives. 
• PCs and various software applications, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio. 
• Ability to communicate technical info and ideas so others will understand. 
• Ability to successfully work and promote inclusiveness in small groups. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Bachelor in Engineering, Information Technology, or business
• Requires two to four years of experience documenting processes, process design, process management, procedures, flowcharts
• Knowledge of agile methodologies
• BPMN methodology is a big plus
• Visio, Bizagi or equivalent tool experience
• Strong consultative experience.
• Plus certification in improvement process (Six Sigma or equivalent)
• Background in technical field is a big plus 
• Business Process Management BPM

The Role

The Solution Consultant’s primary responsibility is to engage with our customer's leaders in plant maintenance to provide consulting on value improvement cases, maturity assessments, process improvement, and mobility best practices engagements. Our SCs engage with clients by leading the solution design process, driving the adoption of Innovapptive's connected worker solutions using cloud-based SaaS offerings and mobility solutions.

As a solution consultant, you are responsible to Identify solution needs and user stories and design approaches for the Field workforce to enable KPI improvements such as:

• Efficient and enabled plant maintenance execution
• Expedited and on-time execution of maintenance work
• Compliance with regulatory and industry requirements

The SC will lead all solution design activities and documentation for the implementation of a Plant Maintenance mobile solution. They will understand plant maintenance processes and the challenges companies and their front-end workers face today. They can advise customers on best practices and marry their business processes to an adoptable solution design that leverages Innovapptive’s mobile solutions. Senior Solution Consultants are key internal advisors on product capabilities and product enhancement opportunities based on their understanding of customer requirements and business processes.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Understand our customer’s Maintenance & Repair Operations, Plant Maintenance processes, and Asset Management integration touchpoints, and map them to our mobile solution (Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Utilities and Discrete Manufacturing Industries)
• Communicate to our customers’ leaders the business benefits and ROI (Return on Investment) in deploying our products
• Guide customers to solutions that maximize process digitization improvements and adoption 
• Execute to-be process solution designs that leverage product capabilities to maximize adoption and enhance the end-user experience
• Provide best practice solutions, evaluate and document effective solution alternatives to the business problems if the current product feature does not meet the customer requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and projects
• Mentor and advise the Development and Implementation Teams to build technical designs and configure applications

What You Bring to the Team:

• Extensive knowledge of business processes in Plant Maintenance Processes, Standard functionality – Work Order Planning & Scheduling, Notifications, Work Order Execution and Processing, Measuring Points, Functional Locations,, and Form Execution and Submission
• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 6-10 years of hands-on functional solution design experience including requirement gathering, prioritization, documentation and consulting in the areas of SAP PM and EAM (SAP or 3rd party applications that integrate with SAP)
• Preferred Experience: have at least 3 full cycle implementation experiences or equivalent experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to leverage knowledge to design and develop solutions that improve productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings and efficiencies
• Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision. Ability to work independently and as part of multiple teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills and team player
• Leading teams and coordinating project activities is a huge plus
• Able to learn new technical skills easily
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and diligent
• Entrepreneurial by nature with a strong sense of ownership

• Excellent Organizational Skills 
• Experience configuring the basic system for various modules of plant maintenance, custom solutions involving complex process design, interfaces, reporting, code evaluation to cross-process integration, and collaborative and seamless solutions is preferred
