As a Development Manager, you will need to manage the team effectively and make sure that team members are delivering to their full potential by continuously monitoring, mentoring, and guiding them both technically and personally to grow in their careers. Your performance will be measured against each team member's delivery, keeping employee morale high at work, mentoring them to grow in their career, and retaining the employee in the organization.

What you will do at Hubstream:

·       Manage Software Development project activities for multiple projects across all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.

·        Work collaboratively with development team, lead architect and the CTO to determine technical direction and approach to system design and implementation.

·       Manage the day-to-day activities of projects and staff; communicate with project teams as necessary to ensure project deliverables are on schedule and within cost parameters.

·       Make recommendations to management about schedules, prioritization, and resource allocation with input from team members.

·       Manage resource planning and organizational capacity planning.

·       Coach and train project team members on Software Development processes and best practices.

·       Providing continuous guidance and direction to the Leads to meet the client delivery & commitment.

·       Periodically conduct the meeting with the Senior Management and update the status of the delivery.

·       Regularly conduct individual team meetings to understand the need of the Team(s) and make sure they are met.

·       Develop a superior workforce and increase the efficiency of the team.

·       Periodically review the performance of each team member(s) and provide feedback to improve.

·       Conduct the year-end performance appraisal to all the team members and give the correct rating without any bias towards any employee.

·       Had experience in the Performance Improvement Program for those employees who are underperforming and continuously mentor and monitor to improve their performance.

Skills/Qualification:

·       B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA with good CPGA from reputed colleges/Institutes in India.

·       6 to 8 years delivery of consulting or professional services, or as a people manager.

·       Minimum 5 years of experience in a technology environment, including 2-3 years of practical professional experience in project management.

·       Minimum 5+ years of Software development experience in C#, T-SQL is a bonus.

·       Minimum 5+ years of experience in Client Interaction directly or indirectly.

·       Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional project teams.

·       Have very good communication skills both verbal and non-verbal communications.

·       Flexible to work in different time zones like Australia, Europe & US Time zone based on the Customer's need.

·       Ability to learn and grasp concepts quickly in a fast-paced environment and guide the Team.

·       Ability to be self-directed and work with minimal supervision.

·       Strong interpersonal skills that demonstrate your knowledge, passion, and commitment to partnering with the team to help them work better.

·       Working knowledge of the Microsoft development tools (Windows / SQL Server / Visual Studio) is a value addition.

·       Demonstrated ability to work on a distributed or remote team is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with business stakeholders and data analysts to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
2. Design and develop interactive and visually compelling dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI.
3. Ensure data accuracy and consistency in the reports by working closely with data engineers and data architects.
4. Optimize and streamline existing Power BI reports and dashboards for better performance and user experience.
5. Develop and maintain data models and data connections to various data sources, ensuring seamless data integration.
6. Implement security measures and data access controls to protect sensitive information in Power BI reports.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports, data refresh, and connectivity problems.
8. Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and capabilities, and evaluate their potential use in improving existing solutions.
9. Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users to promote self-service BI capabilities and enable them to create their own reports.
10. Collaborate with the wider data and analytics team to identify opportunities for using Power BI to enhance business processes and decision-making.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous Power BI projects.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Power BI, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and M (Power Query) to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
4. Solid understanding of data visualization best practices and design principles to create engaging and intuitive dashboards.
5. Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling and database design concepts.
6. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
7. Ability to work with various data sources, including relational databases, APIs, and cloud-based platforms.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues in Power BI reports.
9. Familiarity with data security and governance practices in the context of Power BI development.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
11. Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus.

We are hiring a Technical Business Analyst who wants to advance their knowledge and experience in Privacy & Security. The ideal candidate will have interest and experience in data privacy and application & data security. We will be providing training resources to ramp up on privacy & security, but candidates with technical background, and interest in privacy & security are preferred.

As the successful candidate, you will be required to: 

• Gathering and documenting needs and use of data from internal and external stakeholders, including privacy requirements based on laws & regulations, document security best practices and requirements.
• Research, analyze, and document business requirements. Prepare high quality analysis such as summarizing security best practices, privacy laws, business requirements specifications, functional and technical specifications, traceability matrices, etc.
• Create user stories based on functional requirements gathered from business teams.

• Creating data and process workflows.

• Engage and work closely with development team and stakeholders, including attending scrum meetings.

To be eligible for this role, you should possess the following: 

• Bachelor’s or Engineering Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst.
• 2+ years of experience using JIRA and Confluence.
