✅ Azure (IoT / cloud) experience
✅ SaaS architecture mindset

A BIT ABOUT US
Appknox is a leading AI-native mobile application security platform trusted by enterprises around the world. Recognized by Gartner and G2, Appknox helps organizations secure mobile applications throughout their lifecycle through automated security testing, continuous monitoring, and actionable intelligence.
Headquartered in Singapore with engineering based in Bengaluru, Appknox serves customers across North America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Japan, and India. Our customers include Fortune 500 companies, governments, financial institutions, and digital-first enterprises that rely on Appknox to secure their mobile ecosystem.
We are a profitable, fast-growing B2B SaaS company with a highly collaborative culture and ambitious plans to shape the future of application security in the AI era.
About The Role
Application security is undergoing a fundamental shift. AI is changing how software gets built, how vulnerabilities emerge, how security teams investigate and prioritise risk, and how enterprise buyers discover and evaluate security platforms.
Appknox has spent more than a decade building deep expertise in mobile application security. Our next chapter requires us to evolve both what Appknox stands for and how effectively we take that story to market.
We are looking for a hands-on Lead for GTM Marketing to translate Appknox’s product, positioning and business priorities into integrated go-to-market programmes that create awareness, engagement and pipeline.
You will lead the GTM marketing team and own demand generation, campaigns, ABM, website and conversion, organic discovery, content activation, field marketing and events. You will work as a peer to Product Marketing, partnering closely with Sales, Product and leadership to connect market strategy with disciplined execution.
This is not a role for someone who only manages agencies, runs isolated campaigns or waits to receive briefs. You will help determine where marketing should focus, challenge assumptions, build the operating plan, develop the team and remain close enough to execution to maintain a high quality bar.
What You Will Own
1. GTM strategy
Translate Appknox’s product, positioning and revenue priorities into a focused GTM strategy, operating plan and measurable goals.
For each significant opportunity, help answer:
Who are we trying to influence? What problem matters to them? What do we want them to believe? What should we take to market? Through which channels? What commercial outcome should it create?
You will:
- Lead and develop the GTM marketing team, creating clarity around priorities, ownership, quality and performance.
- Build quarterly and annual GTM plans aligned with company, product and regional revenue priorities.
- Prioritise across markets, audiences, channels and opportunities rather than allowing every request to become a campaign.
- Manage relevant budgets, agencies and specialist partners.
- Establish clear operating rhythms across GTM Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales and Product.
2. Demand Generation and Integrated Campaigns
Build integrated programmes that create qualified demand and contribute meaningfully to pipeline.
You will:
- Own marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline targets, measurement and review rhythms.
- Design programmes across inbound, paid, organic, content, webinars, retargeting and emerging acquisition channels.
- Connect campaigns to defined audiences, customer problems, offers, conversion paths and commercial outcomes.
- Diagnose funnel performance and work with Sales and revenue operations to improve conversion.
- Identify successful GTM plays that can be repeated and scaled.
Success will be measured through qualified engagement, opportunity creation and progression, pipeline contribution and conversion-not campaign activity alone.
3. Account-Based and Segment GTM
Partner with Sales and Product Marketing to build focused programmes for priority accounts, industries, personas and regions.
You will:
- Identify segments and accounts where focused marketing can create disproportionate impact.
- Understand buying committees, account-level triggers and market-specific context.
- Work with Product Marketing to develop relevant narratives by segment and buyer.
- Design integrated ABM programmes, offers, landing experiences and content.
- Coordinate marketing engagement with SDR and sales outreach.
- Track account engagement, opportunity creation and progression.
At Appknox, ABM should combine account insight, buying committee, customer problem, narrative, offer and sales motion-not simply apply advertising to an account list.
4. Website, Organic Discovery and Conversion
Transform Appknox.com into an active GTM and experimentation engine.
You will own or drive:
- Information architecture and messaging activation.
- Product, use-case, industry, persona, regional and competitive pages.
- Campaign landing experiences and conversion paths.
- Website experimentation and performance measurement.
- SEO and evolving AI-led discovery across platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.
You will develop a measurement system connecting discoverability, relevance, engagement, conversion and pipeline. Traffic, rankings and AI mentions alone are not success.
5. Product Launches and Market Activation
Partner with Product Marketing and Product to take new capabilities and products to market.
Product Marketing will lead customer insight, ICP definition, positioning, competitive differentiation and product narrative. You will lead GTM planning and activation across campaigns, website, content, distribution, organic discovery, sales activation, field programmes and amplification.
This is not a downstream handoff. You will participate in launch strategy, contribute market and performance insight, and help test whether the positioning works when exposed to buyers.
6. Content and Thought Leadership
Lead the GTM content agenda and the team responsible for bringing it to life.
You will:
- Determine what Appknox should talk about based on customer problems, market shifts, buyer demand and the company’s strategic point of view.
- Guide the development of category narratives, research-led content, technical thought leadership, competitive content, executive communications and campaign assets.
- Build content distribution into every major initiative rather than treating publication as the finish line.
- Maintain a consistently high standard of clarity, substance and differentiation.
Every significant content investment should answer: Who are we trying to influence? What belief are we trying to change? What should happen after they consume it?
7. Field Marketing and Events
Own the GTM strategy and marketing execution for priority industry events, executive programmes, regional activations and field initiatives.
You will:
- Select and prioritise events based on target audiences, market objectives and commercial potential.
- Build pre-event, onsite and post-event motions with Sales.
- Develop programmes that create meetings, progress target accounts and deepen customer and partner relationships.
- Establish consistent measurement for event-sourced and event-influenced pipeline.
- Balance global consistency with the realities of different regions and sales motions.
8. Market Intelligence and Experimentation
Work with Product Marketing to continuously monitor competitor positioning, market narratives, buyer behaviour, campaign signals, organic discovery and emerging security themes.
Product Marketing will lead the strategic implications for positioning and product. You will ensure relevant market and performance signals translate rapidly into GTM action.
Work Expectations
First 60 days
- Understand Appknox’s market, customers, product portfolio, team, current GTM programmes, website funnel, organic presence and competitive landscape.
- Establish performance baselines and clarify team ownership and operating rhythms.
- Identify the three to five highest-leverage GTM opportunities or leaks.
- Build the initial GTM and experimentation roadmap.
Within 90 days
- Ship meaningful website, campaign or conversion improvements.
- Launch the first focused account or segment programmes with Sales.
- Improve the speed at which narratives, campaigns and landing experiences reach the market.
- Establish practical measurement connecting marketing programmes to qualified engagement, opportunities and pipeline.
- Create clearer briefs, priorities and performance expectations for the GTM marketing team.
Within 6 months
- Stronger market association between Appknox and the strategic application-security themes it chooses to own.
- Improved qualified organic engagement and conversion.
- One or two repeatable account, segment or regional GTM plays.
- Faster and more disciplined website and campaign experimentation.
- Better coordination across GTM Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales and Product.
- Clearer visibility into which channels, narratives and programmes influence pipeline.
- A repeatable system for taking new products and market narratives to market.
Personality Traits We Admire
- Strategic thinker with strong execution skills.
- Curious, commercially minded, and customer obsessed.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-moving environments.
- Strong collaborator who can influence cross-functional teams.
- Excited by AI and emerging technologies.
- Eager to build and grow with the company over the long term.
What We Are Looking For
- 7–10 years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, ideally within technical SaaS, cybersecurity or enterprise software.
- Experience leading or managing a marketing team, with the ability to set direction, develop people and maintain a strong execution bar.
- Demonstrated ownership of integrated GTM programmes and measurable pipeline outcomes.
- Strong understanding of product positioning and messaging, with the ability to turn strategy into market-facing activation.
- Experience working closely with Sales on demand generation, ABM, field marketing or regional programmes.
- Strong digital and website fundamentals, including conversion optimisation and organic discovery. Familiarity with AEO and GEO is valuable, but deep SEO specialisation is not required.
- Ability to understand technically complex products and simplify them without losing substance.
- Strong analytical capability and a desire to understand why a metric moved—not simply report that it did.
- Excellent writing, storytelling and communication skills.
- Ability to move between strategic thinking, team leadership and hands-on execution.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity, making trade-offs and building systems where none currently exist.
- Low ego, high ownership and the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively.
Interview Process
Round 1: Hiring Manager
Round 2: Functional Case Study
Round 4: CEO Discussion
Round 5: HR & Compensation
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive compensation and ESOP opportunities.
- Flexible work environment.
- Comprehensive health insurance for employees and their families.
- Opportunity to work with global customers and cutting-edge AI and cybersecurity technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance server-side applications.
• Collaborate with frontend (Flutter) and product teams to define and deliver end-to-end solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities
We’re looking for an Engineering Manager who treats engineering management as a systems problem, not a career milestone.
You’ll lead engineers while staying close to the technical core—owning architecture, modeling decisions, and execution quality in a domain where correctness matters as much as velocity.
Technical & Product Ownership
- Build and evolve core platform features
- Design and ship APIs, services, and integrations that power billing automation, usage metering, invoicing, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
- Model complex financial workflows
- Work deeply on pricing logic, proration, true-ups, multi-currency handling, approval workflows, and event-driven billing pipelines—where small decisions have long-term consequences.
- Make architectural trade-offs
- Balance “ship it now” against “live with it forever” while scaling systems that process high-volume usage data and real-time financial calculations.
- Stay technically fluent
- You won’t write code every day, but you’ll review PRs, catch subtle bugs, and guide design discussions with confidence.
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and grow the engineering team
- Mentor and manage engineers across experience levels, setting clear expectations and raising the bar on ownership, execution, and quality.
- Create high-output systems
- Establish clear problem definitions, focused execution cycles, code reviews that actually catch issues, and enough slack for engineers to think—not just ship.
- Debug team dynamics like software
- Observe signals, form hypotheses, intervene deliberately, and measure outcomes—whether the issue is delivery, alignment, or collaboration.
- Build the team intentionally
- Design interviews that surface real problem-solving ability, not just pattern matching. At this stage, every hire shifts the average.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Finance, and Customer Success to translate real-world contract terms into correct, scalable systems
- Partner with stakeholders to solve ambiguous problems where requirements evolve and trade-offs are unavoidable
- Ensure systems remain accurate, auditable, and compliant as the product scales

You will work alongside the Senior AI Engineer and the wider pod, with ownership of parts of the AI surface area of the product.
Responsibilities:
Solutioning and POCs
Translate ambiguous customer problems into working POCs at speed.
Pick the right model, framework, and architecture, and demonstrate value early before scaling investment.
LLM Application Development
Build AI features and services using LLM APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and self-hosted open-weight models (Llama, Qwen, Mistral).
Choose the right model per use case based on cost, latency, capability, and context-window trade-offs.
Agentic System Design
Design and implement agentic workflows using LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, LlamaIndex Agents, or custom orchestration.
Cover tool use, planning, memory, and multi-step reasoning appropriate to the problem.
API and Service Development
Build production AI services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
Handle streaming responses, async processing, structured outputs, retries, and graceful degradation when models or tools fail.
Retrieval and Tool Integration
Implement RAG pipelines with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, pgvector, Chroma), embeddings, chunking strategies, hybrid search, and reranking.
Integrate external tools, internal APIs, and document sources through tool-calling and MCP-style patterns.
Cost Analysis and Unit Economics
Model the per-request and per-user cost of every AI feature before it ships.
Track token usage, prompt caching, batching, and model-routing strategies.
Drive measurable improvements in unit economics.
Production Hardening
Add observability and tracing (LangSmith, Langfuse, OpenTelemetry), guardrails, content safety checks, prompt injection defences, and fallback behaviour.
Prompt Engineering and Evaluation
Design, test, and iterate prompts with measured outcomes.
Build evaluation harnesses for accuracy, hallucination, latency, and cost.
Run benchmarks across models and prompt variants before locking in a design.
Requirements:
AI Feature Shipped to Production (Mandatory)
Must have personally built and shipped at least one AI feature that runs in production for real users, with operational ownership.
POCs, internal demos, and one-off scripts do not qualify.
2 to 4 Years of Professional Software or AI Engineering Experience
With at least one production AI feature owned end to end.
Strong Python Proficiency and API Development with FastAPI
Comfort with type hints, async, packaging, testing, streaming responses, and authentication.
Production-grade Python, not notebook-only code.
Hands-on Depth Across the LLM and Agent Stack
Working experience with at least two of OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or self-hosted open-weight models (vLLM, Ollama, Together, Replicate).
Working familiarity with at least one agent framework (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, LlamaIndex Agents) or hand-rolled equivalent.
Working knowledge of RAG, embeddings, and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, pgvector, Chroma).
Solutioning Speed and POC Velocity
Demonstrated ability to move from a fuzzy problem to a working prototype in days.
Strong instinct for what to build first, what to defer, and what to throw away.
Cost Discipline for Production AI
Ability to calculate, monitor, and optimise the cost of LLM APIs, tokens, embeddings, vector store usage, and infrastructure.
Treats unit economics as a first-class concern.
AWS Familiarity
Working knowledge of EC2, S3, IAM, and at least one of Bedrock, SageMaker, or equivalent.
Comfortable in a Fast-Moving Environment
Self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity, takes ownership without being asked, and ships under shifting priorities.
Strong Written and Spoken English Communication
Able to explain trade-offs to non-AI engineers, designers, product managers, and clients in plain language.
Nice to Have
- fine-tuning or LoRA, QLoRA, PEFT exposure
- MCP server authoring
- eval framework experience (LangSmith, Promptfoo, Ragas, DeepEval)
- open-source AI contributions
- multi-modal models (vision, audio)
About Nimuki
Nimuki is a premium Indian kidswear brand for children aged 3–7 years. We focus on stylish, comfortable, and high-quality clothing for modern families. We are launching in Kolkata and plan to expand across India.
At Nimuki, we are building a strong brand and community, not just selling products. We believe in doing things thoughtfully and maintaining high standards.
Why We Are Hiring
In our early stage, growth will come mainly through social media, influencer collaborations, and building trust with parents—not through paid advertising.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership, bring ideas, and work independently. If you enjoy building something from scratch and taking initiative, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Management
- Manage Nimuki's Instagram account end-to-end.
- Post content, Stories, Reels, captions, hashtags, and respond to DMs.
- Follow the content calendar created with Radhika.
- Reply to comments and messages on the same day.
- Track performance such as reach, shares, saves, and engagement.
- Suggest new content ideas and trends that fit the brand.
2. Influencer & Creator Partnerships
- Find and connect with mommy bloggers and parent creators, mainly in Kolkata.
- Reach out, negotiate, and manage gifting and affiliate collaborations.
- Explain Nimuki's brand story and guidelines to creators.
- Track the performance of influencer campaigns.
- Build long-term relationships with top-performing creators.
3. WhatsApp Community Management
- Manage Nimuki's WhatsApp community for our founding families.
- Share new launches, exclusive previews, and engage with members.
- Ensure every interaction creates a positive brand experience.
- Coordinate with Sunjit on order updates and customer delight initiatives.
4. Offline Partnerships
Work with Sunjit to build relationships with:
- Premium preschools and daycares.
- Kids' play areas and family entertainment centres.
- Pediatric clinics and wellness centres.
- Art, music, sports, and swimming classes.
Your role will be to build partnerships, manage communication, and ensure everything is executed smoothly.
5. Reporting
- Share weekly updates on social media growth, influencer activities, WhatsApp community, and partnership progress.
- Provide monthly recommendations on what is working and what can be improved.
- Take ownership and proactively share updates without waiting to be asked.
What This Role Is Not
Before applying, please note:
- This is not a paid advertising role. Running Google or Meta ads is not the focus.
- This is not a content creation role. Radhika will lead the creative direction; you will manage execution and distribution.
- This is not a remote position. Being based in Kolkata is mandatory.
- This is not a role where daily tasks will be assigned. You are expected to manage your own work and priorities.
What We Are Looking For
Must-Have Requirements
- Experience working with a D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) brand.
- Good understanding of Instagram and how to build an engaged community.
- Hands-on experience with influencer outreach and collaborations.
- Comfortable managing WhatsApp communities and customer conversations.
- Based in Kolkata or ready to relocate immediately.
Preferred Skills
- Existing connections with mommy bloggers or parent influencers in Kolkata.
- Experience using affiliate tools like UpPromote, Cuelinks, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of the Indian D2C market and customer behaviour.
- Ability to read Instagram Insights and use data to make decisions.
- Experience with offline partnerships and brand collaborations.
We Would Love Someone Who
- Shares updates without being reminded.
- Brings solutions and ideas instead of only pointing out problems.
- Enjoys building and growing a brand from the ground up.
- Treats the brand with ownership and care.
- Pays attention to quality in every interaction, whether it's a DM, caption, or influencer communication.
If you are excited about building a growing kidswear brand and love creating meaningful connections with customers and communities, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Company
The client is revolutionising the way businesses operate through cutting-edge technological solutions. Their focus is on developing intelligent agents and agentic workflows that automate processes and eliminate the need for human effort wherever possible. By leveraging
advanced AI and machine learning, they create systems that enhance productivity and drive efficiency.
Their expertise extends to the fintech, healthcare and medical technology sectors, where they develop innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes and streamline medical operations.
From medical devices to healthcare platforms, their work sits at the intersection of technology and medicine, pushing the boundaries of what's possible. The team is dedicated to continuous learning and growth, ensuring the team members are always at the forefront of the tech landscape.
About the Role
This is a senior, hands-on engineering role at the heart of our product team. You will be one of the most technical people in the room — setting the architecture for our real-time voice AI
agents and building the hardest parts of it yourself. From the systems that power live conversations to the interfaces our clients rely on, you will own how the product is engineered end to end.
We are looking for a genuine lead full-stack engineer with the depth to make architecture decisions that hold up as we scale, and the appetite to still be in the code every day. You should be as comfortable designing the backend services behind a live voice agent as you are shaping a clean interface on top of them — and comfortable being the person others turn to when something is hard.
You will work directly with the founder and product leadership on a fast-moving product, with real influence over technical direction. This is a role for someone who wants ownership at the level of "how the whole thing is built," not just individual features — and who raises the bar for
everyone around them.
What You'll Own
Set the technical direction
- Own the architecture of our core systems — the real-time voice agents, backend
- services, data and APIs — making the decisions that keep the product fast, reliable and scalable as it grows.
- Lead the hardest engineering problems and solve them personally.
- Establish engineering standards — code quality, review practices, testing and technical patterns that the team builds to.
- Drive technical strategy with the founder and product leadership — shaping the roadmap, flagging risk early, and turning product ambition into a sound technical plan.
Build the product end to end
- Design, build and ship features across the stack — backend services, APIs and front-ends — owning them from idea to production.
- Build the client-facing surfaces — dashboards, review tools and configuration interfaces that let our clients run and trust the product.
- Design and evolve the data models and APIs that hold up as we scale across clients.
Make it reliable and fast
- Own production quality — put the monitoring and alerting in place so issues are caught before clients feel them, and performance stays within target.
- Care about performance — find and fix bottlenecks across the stack.
- Build for correctness — put the testing and evaluation in place that keeps the product behaving predictably as it changes.
Lead through the team
- Mentor and grow engineers — through code review, pairing, and setting a technical example others learn from.
- Multiply the team's output — unblock others and lift the overall quality of the codebase.
- Take features from ambiguity to done — turn a rough product goal into a shipped, working capability with minimal hand-holding, and help others do the same.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant depth across both backend and frontend and a track record of owning systems, not just features.
- Strong backend engineering, ideally in Python — building and scaling production services and APIs.
- Strong frontend engineering with a modern framework such as React — able to architect and build polished, responsive interfaces independently.
- Proven architecture and system-design ability — you have designed systems that scaled, and can reason clearly about trade-offs.
- Solid fundamentals across APIs, databases and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience building real-time and/or AI-powered products — or clear, demonstrable ability to lead in this area.
- A history of technical leadership — setting standards, mentoring engineers, and being trusted with the hardest problems — while remaining hands-on.
- Excellent communication and a genuine ownership mindset — someone who can be handed an ambiguous, high-stakes problem and be trusted to see it through.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with AI / large language models in production.
- Experience with voice or other real-time products.
- Exposure to healthcare, fintech, or other regulated / high-stakes domains.
- Experience as an early or senior engineer in a startup, where you set direction and wore many hats.

What’s in it for You?
We are looking for a seasoned, techno-functional Project Manager who can own end-to-end delivery for multiple projects while building and growing a high-performing team of 15–18 people. This is a hands-on project management role that blends three dimensions: delivery excellence (on-time, first-time-right, within scope and cost), customer partnership (building trusted relationships and delivering measurable business impact), and people leadership (developing, upskilling, and growing your team).
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable in a technical design discussion, a customer QBR, and a career conversation with a team member.
What Will You Be Doing?
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery Execution & Ownership
- Own end-to-end delivery of projects/releases — on-time, first-time-right, and within the agreed cost, timeline, and scope.
- Drive project and release planning, including work breakdown, estimation, resource planning, dependency mapping, and risk-adjusted scheduling.
- Track and manage scope changes with disciplined change control; balance customer asks against commercial and timeline commitments.
- Proactively identify delivery risks and drive mitigation before they become escalations.
2. Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Define, track, and report quality metrics (defect density, leakage, first-time-right rate, SLA adherence, velocity/predictability).
- Institutionalize first-time-right practices: reviews, definition of done, test coverage, and release readiness gates.
- Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, root-cause analysis, and measurable corrective actions carried into subsequent releases.
3. Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Build and deepen relationships with customer stakeholders at working and leadership levels; act as a trusted delivery partner, not just a status reporter.
- Own the cadence of customer communication — Weekly Status Reports (WSR), Monthly Business Reviews (MBR), and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) — with crisp, data-backed narratives on progress, risks, and value delivered.
- Build deep business and domain knowledge of the customer and the projects under the client portfolio; use that context to anticipate needs, shape solutions, and identify growth opportunities.
- Manage expectations transparently — communicate early on risks, trade-offs, and course corrections.
4. Governance, Reporting & Delivery Standards
- Ensure adherence to organizational delivery standards, processes, and governance frameworks across all projects.
- Maintain rigorous delivery hygiene: minutes of meetings, action-item tracking to closure, and up-to-date RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
- Provide accurate and timely internal reporting — project health, margins, utilization, staffing, and escalations — to delivery leadership.
- Work in synergy with support functions (HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, IT, Operations) for staffing, invoicing, compliance, and enablement needs.
5. People Leadership & Development
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of 15–18 engineers and leads — spanning goal setting, regular 1:1s, performance management, and career development conversations.
- Build individual upskill plans aligned to project needs and career aspirations; track progress and create stretch opportunities.
- Develop a leadership pipeline by identifying and grooming leads and anchors within the team.
- Foster a culture of customer-first, ownership, accountability, and continuous learning; manage performance issues early, fairly, and constructively.
- Drive team engagement, retention, and recognition.
6. Techno-Functional Contribution
- Participate credibly in solution and architecture discussions; challenge estimates and technical approaches where needed.
- Translate business requirements into technical direction for the team, and technical constraints into business language for the customer.
- Stay current with engineering practices (Agile/Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud, and AI-assisted development) and drive their adoption where they improve delivery outcomes.
Requirements
What Makes You the Perfect Fit?
- 8–10 years of overall experience in IT services, with at least 3–4 years managing delivery and teams of 12+ members.
- Strong techno-functional profile: an engineering background with hands-on technical experience earlier in the career, now combined with delivery and domain depth.
- Proven track record of on-time, within-budget delivery across multiple releases or projects.
- Demonstrated experience running customer governance cadences (WSR/MBR/QBR) and managing senior client stakeholders.
- Solid command of estimation techniques, release planning, quality metrics, and delivery governance artifacts (RAID logs, MoM, action trackers, status dashboards).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and hybrid delivery models; working knowledge of tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
- Strong people-management credentials: performance management, upskilling, career development, and conflict resolution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication — able to produce crisp executive-level reporting and lead difficult conversations with confidence and empathy.
Good to Have
- PMP, PRINCE2, CSM/PSM certification.
- Exposure to AI-assisted delivery practices and productivity tooling.
- Domain exposure (e.g., energy/utilities, real estate, or public sector).
- Experience contributing to presales, account growth, or delivery excellence initiatives.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent; MBA or equivalent management qualification is a plus.
Company Description
Appiness Interactive Pvt. Ltd. is a Bangalore-based product development and UX firm that
specializes in digital services for startups to fortune-500s. We work closely with our clients to
create a comprehensive soul for their brand in the online world, engaged through multiple
platforms of digital media. Our team is young, passionate, and aggressive, not afraid to think
out of the box or tread the un-trodden path in order to deliver the best results for our clients.
We pride ourselves on Practical Creativity where the idea is only as good as the returns it
fetches for our clients.
About the Role
You will own the reliability of the distributed data systems, the streaming runtime and
processing engines that move hundreds of billions of rows per day for top-tier enterprises. This
is an SRE role for our big data stack: Kafka, Spark, Flink, Ray, Redis, and data warehouses, all
running on Kubernetes.
This is not a cloud-provisioning role. We are looking for someone who has lived inside stateful,
high-throughput systems in production who has chased down a broker outage, a checkpoint
stall, a crashlooping cache, and a sink that silently stopped writing, and who fixes the
architecture rather than the symptom. If keeping a large, busy data platform alive and fast is the
kind of problem you find satisfying, you will have a lot of fun working with us. This is a unique
opportunity to shape the foundation of a product that is defining the next wave of intelligent,
context-aware data movement.
Responsibilities
● Streaming & Data Plane Reliability: Own the health of our Kafka-based runtime
(managed via Strimzi on Kubernetes) - broker health, topic lifecycle and count
management, partition and throughput tuning, certificate/secret rotation, and version
upgrades - at a scale of hundreds of thousands of topics and hundreds of billions of rows
per day.
● Distributed Processing Engines: Operate and tune distributed system workloads in
production in collaboration with backend teams, resource allocation, autoscaling,
checkpointing, backpressure, and failure recovery for both batch and streaming jobs.
● Stateful Services: Run Redis clusters and other stateful systems reliably - failover,
persistence, liveness/readiness tuning, and capacity planning under heavy and bursty
load.
● Kubernetes & Operators: Take end-to-end ownership of Amazon EKS, Google GKE and
the operators (Strimzi and others) running our stateful data workloads - cluster lifecycle,
scaling, version upgrades, and resource governance.
● Observability: Build deep, data-aware monitoring - consumer lag, throughput, partition
skew, job latency, error rates - not just host and CPU metrics. Make the data plane's
behavior legible before it breaks.
● Incident Management: Lead root-cause analysis for distributed-systems failures (broker
outages, crashloops, sink decommissions, control-plane race conditions) and drive
durable fixes. Mitigate fast, but design out the recurrence.
● Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Provision and manage cloud infrastructure with
Terraform; build operational runbooks and automation, including for air-gapped/private
enterprise installs (pre-staged images, operator-facing procedures).
● Collaboration: Partner with platform, runtime, and connector engineering - and with
SREs and support - to ship and scale new data-movement features reliably in a
large-scale Linux environment.
Qualifications
● Experience: 6+ years in infrastructure, SRE, or DevOps, with significant time spent
operating production distributed data systems (not just application/cloud infra).
● Kafka: Deep, hands-on operational experience running Kafka at scale in production -
ideally on Kubernetes via Strimzi - including upgrades, topic/partition management,
performance tuning, and TLS/secret rotation.
● Distributed Processing (Strong Plus): Production experience operating one or more of
Spark, Flink, or Ray - resource tuning, checkpointing, failure recovery.
● Stateful Systems (Must Have): Production experience with Redis (clustering, persistence,
failover) and a solid understanding of operating stateful workloads on Kubernetes
(StatefulSets, PVCs, probes, operators).
● Data Warehouses: Familiarity operating against Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar, and an
understanding of JDBC connectivity and sink reliability.
● Kubernetes & EKS: Strong hands-on EKS cluster creation, scaling, version upgrades, and
operator management.
● Infrastructure as Code: Advanced proficiency with Terraform.
● Programming: Proficiency in Python (or similar) for automation and tooling. Comfort
reading and debugging JVM-based systems is a strong plus.
● Reliability Mindset: Demonstrated ownership of incident management, RCA, capacity
planning, and performance tuning for high-throughput systems.
● CI/CD: Solid understanding of CI/CD methodology (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI)
for containerized and non-containerized apps. Supporting, not the core of the role.
● Nice to Have: Configuration management (Ansible preferred); broader AWS services
(IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda); AWS CloudFormation.
● Soft Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to coordinate
effectively within a team and with customers.
Why This Might Be Worth It
● You own the hard part. The stateful, distributed systems that move billions of rows are
the platform's most demanding reliability problems - and they'd be yours.
● Impact at scale from day one. Your work keeps mission-critical data flowing for
companies like DoorDash and LinkedIn.
● The AI wave is real for us. We're not bolting AI onto a legacy product. Intelligent
connectors, context-aware data movement, and agentic workflows are the core of what
we're building next - on top of the runtime you'd run. ○ Small team, big problems. Direct
access to the CTO, real influence over product direction, and the autonomy to make
significant technical bets. ○ Recognized platform, startup energy. Enterprise validation
with the speed and ownership of an early-stage company.

Fabless Semiconductor Product Company, Serial Entrepreneurs
Do you want to own the PMIC, PLL, and PCIe buffer architectures that ship in millions of vehicles? Do you want to build and lead the team solving India's toughest automotive power and clocking challenges?
Role: Head of Engineering
Level Five Cartronics | Fabless Automotive Semiconductor Design
Location: MG Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (On-site)
About Us
Founded by serial Entrepreneurs, Level Five Cartronics is a fabless semiconductor design company headquartered in Bengaluru, building automotive-grade Power Management ICs (PMICs), high-precision oscillators, and high-performance phase-locked loops (PLLs) for the next generation of vehicle electronics. Our portfolio centres on low-EMI power delivery — including spread-spectrum EMI suppression — and low-jitter clocking and interface solutions for safety-critical solutions and infotainment systems. We design DC-DC converters, LDOs, and clock distribution networks (including low-jitter PCIe Gen 4, 5, and 6 buffers) in CMOS and BCD high-voltage processes across the 55nm, 90nm and 180nm nodes. We own our products end to end, from architecture through silicon characterization and productization, as part of India's growing fabless semiconductor ecosystem.
The Role
We are looking for a hands-on Head of Engineering, based at our Bengaluru headquarters, to lead our analog/mixed-signal design organization. This is a senior leadership position for an engineer who has personally taken complex automotive power, clocking, and high-speed interface products from concept to high-volume production — and who can build, mentor, and scale the cross-functional team that does it again and again.
You will set the technical direction for our PMIC, oscillator, PLL, and PCIe buffer roadmaps, own design quality and tape-out readiness, and partner closely with characterization, product, and test engineering to ensure every product meets stringent automotive reliability, jitter, and EMC requirements.
What You'll Do
1. Lead and grow the analog/mixed-signal design, layout, and verification teams across multiple product lines, based out of our Bengaluru engineering center.
2. Own the technical architecture and execution of automotive-grade PMICs, DC-DC converters, LDOs, low phase noise Fractional-N phase-locked loops (PLLs), and low-jitter PCIe Gen 4, 5, and 6 buffers.
3. Target high-speed interface applications by driving low phase noise PLL architectures explicitly optimized for PCIe Gen 4, 5, and 6 standards.
4. Drive designs across CMOS and BCD high-voltage processes at 55nm, 90nm and 180nm, from specification through tape-out and qualification.
5. Set and enforce design methodology, review gates, and tape-out criteria; review schematics, layout, and verification plans personally where it matters.
6. Partner with characterization engineers on lab bring-up, silicon debug, and correlation of measured results to simulation.
7. Work side by side with product engineers on productization, test development, yield, and sustaining.
8. Build and lead cross-functional teams; recruit, develop, and retain top analog and layout talent in India's semiconductor talent market.
9. Be a technical authority and final escalation point for difficult design and silicon issues.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum of 12 years (preferably more) of experience in analog/mixed-signal design, layout, and productization.
- Demonstrated track record of taped-out databases and shipping full products in volume, not just isolated blocks.
- Deep expertise across the full flow: schematic design, layout, and lab characterization (understanding how each one constrains the others).
- Hands-on design of DC-DC converters and LDOs in CMOS and BCD high-voltage processes.
- Expertise in clocking and interfaces: deep understanding of low phase noise design, Fractional-N PLL architectures, and low-jitter PCIe Gen 4, 5, and 6 clock buffers/drivers.
- Experience with PMICs, oscillators, and spread-spectrum / EMI suppression techniques.
- Strong working knowledge of the 55nm, 90nm and 180nm process nodes.
- Extensive experience with Cadence EDA tools across the design and verification flow.
- Mixed-signal behavioral modeling in Verilog (Verilog/Verilog-AMS).
- Proven history of working closely with characterization and product engineers through bring-up and ramp.
- Demonstrated success building, leading, and recruiting cross-functional engineering teams.
Nice to Have
- Automotive qualification experience (AEC-Q100, ISO 26262 / functional safety awareness).
- Strong EMC/EMI design and measurement background.
- Experience scaling an engineering organization in a fabless environment, ideally within India's semiconductor ecosystem.
Why Level Five Cartronics
You'll own real products in a fast-moving automotive market, work across the full design-to-silicon flow, and shape the engineering culture of a growing fabless company based in Bengaluru — one of India's leading semiconductor design hubs. If you've built power, clocking, and high-speed interface products that ship in cars and you want to lead the team that builds the next ones, we'd like to talk.
Level Five Cartronics is an equal opportunity employer.
