Job Description

Head – Project / Delivery Management

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Project / Delivery Leader responsible for end-to-end delivery of all organizational projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

This role demands strong expertise in scaled Agile delivery, SDLC management, cybersecurity projects, stakeholder leadership, and large-scale program execution.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivery of all projects across the organization.
• Lead project management across all SDLC delivery methodologies.
• Ensure successful project completion, handover, and future opportunity enhancement.
• Ensure seamless transition of implementation projects to support.
• Manage large-scale programs and multi-team environments.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving capability.
• Expert client stakeholder management and executive communication.
• Present roadmap status, risks, and issues to executive leadership and mitigate roadblocks efficiently.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of proven experience in Project/Delivery Management (minimum exposure to Business Analysis).
• Strong expertise in scaling Lean & Agile practices across large development programs.
• Experience managing scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe, DAD, Scrum, Kanban, or other iterative models at scale.
• Working knowledge of all SDLC delivery models.
• Excellent people and project management skills.
• Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Experience working in small-scale organizations handling large enterprise clients.
• Proficiency in productivity tools – MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project.

Educational Qualifications

• Engineering (CSE/ECE/EEE preferred) + MBA from reputable institutes.
• MBA specialization in Systems / Organizational Management / IT Business Management preferred.
• Management programs from reputed institutes such as IIMs are an added advantage.
• Entire education from English medium.

You will lead a dynamic team, foster collaboration, and manage the end-to-end delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership:

Lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of HR Tech SAAS projects, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the delivery phase, ensuring effective communication and addressing concerns promptly.

• Team Management:

Build and lead a high-performing delivery team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Foster a collaborative and positive team culture, encouraging continuous learning and professional development.

• Resource Planning:

Collaborate with internal teams to assess resource requirements for project delivery. Allocate resources effectively to ensure optimal project execution.

• Client Collaboration:

Collaborate with clients to understand their unique requirements and expectations. Establish and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

• Quality Assurance:

Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the delivered solutions meet high standards. Conduct regular reviews and audits to assess project quality.

• Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and challenges during project delivery and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively communicate risks to stakeholders and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Continuous Improvement:

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery processes and methodologies. Gather feedback from project deliveries to inform product development and future implementations.

• Documentation:

Ensure comprehensive documentation of project deliverables, timelines, and client-specific details. Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and client communication.

• Budget Management:

Manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within budgetary constraints. Provide regular budget updates to clients and stakeholders.

• Overall 7-12 years of experience and at least 4 years of project delivery management experience. 
• Should have worked on SaaS products and have experience in handling a team (at least 10-15). 
• Sound knowledge of SDLC, and quality process with respect to delivery management.
• Experience in Mobile application development and programming knowledge is a plus.
• Good presentation skills, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact with customers at all levels
