Job Description:
We are looking for skilled professionals with expertise in EMC Symmetrix PowerMax, Unity, XtremIO, VNX PowerStore storage technologies, and Dell EMC storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, HP EVA, and IB Flash storage. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing and optimizing enterprise storage infrastructures. The candidate should be available for a face-to-face interview at the IBM location and be ready for immediate reporting post-offer and background verification.
Experience Requirements:
We are hiring for multiple experience levels, as detailed below:
4 years of total experience with 3 years of relevant experience & 8+ years of total experience with 7 years of relevant experience in Storage Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage enterprise storage solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EMC Symmetrix PowerMax, Unity, XtremIO, VNX PowerStore storage technologies.
Optimize performance and reliability of SAN, NAS, HP EVA, and IB Flash storage.
Monitor and manage storage infrastructure using advanced analytics and monitoring tools.
Ensure compliance with security and data management policies.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration.
Provide technical support and documentation for storage-related incidents and requests.
Required Skills:
Expertise in EMC Symmetrix PowerMax, Unity, XtremIO, VNX PowerStore storage technologies.
Hands-on experience with SAN, NAS, HP EVA, and IB Flash storage.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in enterprise storage environments.
Experience in storage performance tuning and capacity planning.
Knowledge of data security best practices in storage infrastructures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., EMC Storage Specialist, Dell EMC Proven Professional).
Experience in enterprise-level storage deployments.
Exposure to cloud-based storage solutions (AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud storage environments).
