Category Manager – Beauty & Cosmetics Role: Plan and develop Category Management strategies for the beauty & Cosmetics category that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectives. Analyze sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock. Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales. Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately. Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc Responsibility Primary responsibilities will be to manage P&L and to drive new products development. Consumer insights through market research, inputs for brand positioning & product planning. To negotiate and close for the best deals and pricing. Follow up with the support team for getting products live and checking if products are live with the proper description or not.
