Practice Head – BI/Data Science Engineering BI & Data Science is an emerging practice at Technovert and we are seeking for Leader roles who can rapidly grow this practice. As a practice Head, you will deliver consulting and strategy services to clients that are looking to establish better BI and Data Science engineering practices. You will be leading teams of BI/Data Science personnel performing both functional and development, working directly with senior clients, while providing thought leadership to define and implement BI and Data Science strategies. Additionally, you will be developing assets for the practice, participating in business development activities and leading people as part of your core responsibilities. Responsibilities You are responsible and accountable for building the practice, driving quality, sales, recruitment, account management as follows Building the Practice - Drive overall growth of the practice right from business development, talent development to delivering the solution. Talent Development: Hire passionate and right mix of talent. Coach, guide and mentor consultants and leaders and build a high-performance team and awesome culture. Build center of excellence - Build an innovation center, design frameworks and develop new methodologies and intellectual property. Train people on latest BI practices, strategies and tools. Sales Enablement - Identifying market needs, design campaigns, produce quality collateral and enable sales teams to drive new business opportunities. Engagement Management - Manage engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, defining deliverable frameworks Thought Leadership - Research and identify latest and future trends in the industry and share thought provoking ideas and solution with internal teams and to the world at large. Active in the technology community through various channels including conferences, meetups, blogging, etc. Who can apply: • Proficient in customization and configuration of MSBI product suite • Proficient in all three components of MSBI (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS) • Proficient in Power Bi implementations • Knowledge of tools like Qlikview, Tableau or Business Objects is an added advantage. • Should be able to do complex design and high-performance architecture • Should be able to design cubes for complex business requirements • Should have excellent understanding of MSBI Architecture • Should have excellent understanding of MS SQL Server Architecture • Prior experience in end to end BI Implementation projects • Participating and leading client engagement in developing plans and strategies of data management processes and IT programs for the clients, providing hands on assistance in data modeling, technical implementation of vendor products and practices • Facilitating, guiding, and influencing the clients and teams towards right information technology architecture and becoming interface between Business leadership, Tech leadership and the delivery teams • Leading and mentoring other consultants within the practice and across business units • Supporting business development and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction during delivery • Contributing to the thought capital through the creation of executive presentations, architecture documents, and IT position papers • Scope Client requirements • Provide best practice advice to customers and team members • Very good experience in having designed and developed reports, scorecards and dashboards • Participate with End-users and participate in requirement gathering and convert into technical documentation • Prepare high –level Architecture designs for the SSAS/SSRS reporting solutions. • Identify/foresee performance bottle-necks in the report and resolve the same • Provide good solutions/approaches for any complex requirements • Good communication skills are a must. •

Business Analyst Business Analyst at PopcornApps is focused on customer business process understanding for the enterprise software solutions developed at PopcornApps. This role serves as a facilitator for all areas related to Business Process understanding and its communication through written and verbal medium. Business Analyst ensures communication of project requirements to the technical development team. Candidate Profile: 3+ Years Experience. The candidate can be a project lead or an individual contributor in information technology domain with good exposure to client facing communication and documentation. It is desirable that she or he should have directly managed clients and have supervised a Development, Service Ops or QA team for IT software projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of English usage, grammar in the context of technical documentation. Skills & Qualifications: A BTech., MCA or BCA . Primary Job Functions: Understands the customer processes and requirements. Provides comprehensive documentation as per the existing communication guidelines, in order to ensure that the project requirements clearly communicated to the development team. Collaborates with teams in different time-zones to ensure requirements are understood. Develop project schedules and plans as per the estimates provided by the other stakeholders, and be responsible for their implementation and success of projects as per the requirements & strategic guidelines. Reports to Project Manager. Depending on the project managers’ requirements; the business analyst has to assist in business solutions research, data gathering & analysis.
