Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain automation systems (SCADA, PLC, HMI) tailored for water treatment plants, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Program and configure PLC/SCADA systems for process automation of pumps, valves, filters, dosing systems, chemical treatment, backwashing, sludge handling, and other water treatment operations.
- Integrate IoT-based real-time monitoring solutions including flow meters, pressure transmitters, water level sensors, and water quality instruments (pH, turbidity, TDS, conductivity, chlorine residual, etc.).
- Develop and configure data acquisition systems (DAQ) to collect, process, and analyze operational parameters, ensuring availability of accurate real-time and historical data.
- Set up dashboards and cloud-based remote monitoring platforms for centralized control, reporting, and decision-making across multiple plant sites.
- Ensure reliable industrial communication protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus, OPC-UA, MQTT, Ethernet/IP, LoRa, GPRS/4G/5G) for smooth data exchange between PLCs, IoT devices, and cloud servers.
