WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING HERE

  • Develop and Implement business development strategies to expand the company’s presence in International Markets (requires dedicated field visits).
  • Build and maintain relationships with student ambassadors.
  • Conducting app install campaigns, and converting the free app users to pro users.
  • Implement different marketing campaigns in the colleges and Market Places.
  • Use and become an expert on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. i.e Leadsquared.
  • Meet and exceed pipeline contribution goals.
  • Generating revenue by counselling prospects and leading them to sales closure.
  • Build relations with current users and get referrals.
  • Brand Building by ensuring high customer satisfaction through effective communication and follow-ups.


THE BEST FIT CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE

  • 2-3 Years of experience in Field Sales, Telesales, and Educational Sales (an MBA will be an added advantage).
  • Required customer-centric approach with good convincing, negotiation, and pitching skills.
  • Past Experience in building markets from scratch, and launching cities, is an added advantage.
  • Passion for working in a fast-paced start-up.
  • Availability to travel anywhere in Asia for a min of 1-year duration. (Should have a valid passport)

ATP is an Applicant Training Program where selected applicants will be a part of a 6 weeks training program and on successful completion of this training program, applicants will be given an opportunity to join us as a Business Development Associate with BYJUs.

The 6 weeks of ATP is divided into 2 phases, 2 weeks of Class Room Training(CRT) and 4 weeks of On the Job Training(OJT).
PHASE 1 : Classroom Training (CRT)

The 1st 2 weeks of the CRT Phase will be conducted in the training location where we will cover the theoretical aspect of BYJU’S sales process.
You will be involved in various activities during this phase which will be rigorously evaluated by the end of 2 weeks of the CRT program.
Only the candidates who satisfactorily complete the CRT phase will be given an opportunity to start with the next phase of the training program.

PHASE 2 : On-the-Job Training (OJT)

The 2nd stage (OJT Phase) starts from the 3rd week of training for candidates who have successfully cleared the 1st phase.
Candidates will be expected to generate revenue by implementing the theoretical knowledge acquired during the first phase into practice during the final 4 weeks of the OJT phase.

What you'll do?

  • Actively obtain new satisfied clients to fill customer references gaps
  • Establish the types of activities the customers will participate in, including speaking opportunities at webinars & live events, press/media & analyst engagements, and sharing positive experiences in peer-to-peer conversations with sales prospects.
  • Identify what resources are already available to the company, replace outdated content, & create various marketing materials such as detailed proof of customer success stories, customer quotes, create video testimonials, logo features in postcards/banners/booths/decks,
    and other collateral.
  • Manage customer relationships through a formalized process of tracking the frequency of contacts & activities completed avoiding overtaxing valuable relationships through the company's CRM
    system.
  • Attend local customer site visits and event meet-ups, to build close relationships with the customers, network & share best practices, and offer a venue for quicker support escalations.

  • MBA / PGDM (HR or Sales & Marketing) from top B School.
  • Relevant experience of 4+ years
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in B2B/enterprise sales. SaaS experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal & written.
  • Knowledge and understanding of social platforms including LinkedIn to conduct research for new prospects.
  • Should be number driven. Have experience in carrying & achieving personal targets.
  • Good practising knowledge/skill of MS suite, mainly word, Excel & power-point.
  • Ability to grasp and understand clients and business requirements/dynamics quickly.
  • Manage several prospects simultaneously while positioning company products against direct and indirect competitors.
  • Good organization skills, good Networking skills & ability to build relationships.
