This is not a polished corporate job. There is no existing process to plug into, no team to hand things off to, and no brand name to open doors for you. What there is: a clear thesis, a GP who will involve you in every investment decision from day one, and carry tied directly to fund performance.
If you want to learn how a fund is actually built — from sourcing the first deal to structuring the first close — this is the role. If you want a structured environment with defined KPIs and a large team, this is not.
What You'll Do
- Own the top of the deal funnel — identify, reach out to, and qualify founders across Tier 2 cities through accelerators, CA networks, incubators, and direct outreach
- Run first-pass financial diligence: read P&Ls, model unit economics, flag risks and build a view before any GP time is spent
- Write investment memos — clear, short, with a recommendation. No decks, no fluff
- Track the pipeline in Notion/Airtable and keep it clean and current

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
