Job Description:

We are seeking a talented QA Engineer with 3 - 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, particularly in automated testing using Selenium. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and a passion for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and identify test scenarios.
3. Create comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the thorough validation of software functionality, performance, and reliability.
4. Conduct manual testing when necessary, particularly in areas where automation is not feasible.
5. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
6. Perform regression testing to validate fixes and enhancements.
7. Investigate and analyze software defects, providing detailed reports to developers and stakeholders.
8. Continuously improve test processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
9. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.
10. Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to their professional development.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
2. Preferably 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance
3. Strong proficiency in automated testing using Selenium
4. Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques
5. Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software
8. Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
9. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus
10. Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are desirable but not required

Requirements:

• Should be a go-getter, ready to shoulder more responsibilities, and shows enthusiasm and interest in work.

• Excellent core Python skills including threading, dictionary, OOPS Concept, Data structure, and Web service.

• Should have work experience on the following stacks/libraries: Flask

• Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries

• Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system

• Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python

• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as Angular, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3

• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code

• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications

• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance

• Experience in both RDBMS(MySQL), NoSQL databases (MongoDB, HDFS, HIVE etc) or in-memory caching technologies such as ehcache etc is preferable.

What duties does the job involve?

During your time as a Business Analyst on our ITL team, you will be:

• Enjoying your time with us

This we can assure you of, but apart from it, you will be required to:

• Creating technical reports, activity diagrams, BRD, FRD and manuals for the team (help us help others?)
• Developing workflow charts for system changes
• Monitoring each project's progress and optimising processes (concrete results for our efforts, you know?)
• Work as a SPOC between the Tech and Marketing Team and other stakeholders (like we said, coordination skills are a must!)
• Collaborate with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision (great minds don’t always have to think alike!) 
• Require Knowledge of the Balsamiq Tool.
• Should have a basic understanding of Figma.

• 6-13 years’ experience designing for high performing digital products across various domains
• Degree in design-related field or equivalent experience.
• Good understanding of design patterns, industry trends, and great approaches to solve problems
• Expertise in core UX disciplines including information architecture, interaction design, application of design systems, and UI design.
• Creative problem-solver with a strong eye for detail
• Experience and understanding of Responsive Web Design
• Experience with iOS and Android Mobile App Design
• Must have Software Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Miro
• Proficient in wire-framing and comfortable producing concept sketches and user flows
• A passion for UX and User Research
• A strong portfolio which demonstrates work across a range of clients
• Strong experience of user research and usability testing
• Passionate about Design Thinking.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Experience with accessibility, localization, and internationalization.
• Experience working directly with developers to ensure the successful implementation of a design specifications
• Familiarity with content strategy, content management, taxonomy and large scale digital publishing.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge with QA and testing methods is a plus.
• All candidates will be required to submit a portfolio of work samples and/or links to their work.

• Working in high paced competitive stock trading environment with core web app development, scripting, data interpretation and manipulation skills
• Designing, creating and maintaining our in-house software for business requirements
• Work on innovative ideas to improve the user experience of our internal systems and applications which are used by the trading teams
• Improve on existing tools to make trade monitoring systems robust and more reliable

Ideal candidate should have:

• Engineering degree in Computer Science (preferred) or any other discipline
• Experience on Python web app development (Preferably Django)
• Ability to work as a full stack developer
• Experience in Shell/Perl or Python scripting
• Prior experience of Linux or Unix based operating systems
• Ability to create automation scripts
• Experience/Knowledge of financial industry
• Ability to work in fast paced environment under pressure and manage multiple high priority projects
• Willingness to learn and work on new technologies
• Excellent communication skills
