About the Position:

The Professional Services Consultant (Developer/Team Lead) will be a technical leader accountable for gathering customer requirements, delivering best practice, and executing customer implementation projects while driving new revenue through identifying new opportunities and user adoption. The position also requires providing technical guidance and sharing best practices with the team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the technical implementation of projects to ensure successful customer deployment and adoption of Egnyte solutions
• Act as liaison between customers and internal teams such as Engineering, Product Management and Technical Support to solve technical problems and propose new feature development
• Engage multiple constituents at the customer organization – Business users and IT
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with strict deadlines
• Communicate professionally and succinctly and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Reports to Professional Services Director

Qualifications:

• Strong software programming skills that cover four or more of the following areas:
• Experience with various Integrated Development environments (IDE)
• Experience with software repositories
• Programming experience (Python, Javascript, SQL, Bash, PowerShell preferred)
• Full stack web development and app integrations
• Desktop App Development
• Strong application development skills
• Use of SDK platform tools for API integration
• Prior experience developing and implementing Enterprise software or supporting Enterprise applications in technical capacity for a SaaS environment
• Strong experience in Customer Facing Implementation roles
• Excellent customer engagement, presentation, and communication skills
• Attention to detail and adapt to process in a quick changing environment
• Fluency of spoken and written command of English. Any other language is a plus.
• Experience with Governance and Life Sciences industry preferred
• Engagement with pre-sales activities, scoping requirements, Proof of Concept (POC) and product demos.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred
• 8+ years of relevant technical function experience

• MBA/Diploma in Retail Management not mandatory but advantageous  
• 5-8 years' experience in luxury retail, food retail, or hospitality out of which at least 2 years in a team manager role   
• Excellent customer handling and communication   
• Must be well organized and diligently structured in their approach to any engagement   
• An uncompromising focus on execution with a no-nonsense attitude toward goals and deliverables    
• Immediate joiners preferred.

• Experience of managing a GRC Team
• Strong experience of implementation, commissioning and enhancement of modules of GRC Product
• Strong Understanding of Process workflows, Identifying the manual workflows
• Expertise in configuring GRC tool (Archer)
• Experience with all SDLC activities related to GRC program implementation

1. Interfacing with the customer, tech team members, project managers and other relevant product people for a thorough understanding of the product, use case and business objective, detailed specification and data flow for the requirement, demonstration of the solution and clarification of queries at appropriate times during the life-cycle of the product
2. Preparing test cases, setting up CI/CD and integration with logging and monitoring systems for the products or platforms by the end of 6 months
3. Seeking customer feedback to continuously optimize the product for great customer experience and high technical performance in areas such as hardware efficiency, latency and throughput
4. Delivering a robust backend platform for the products and platforms by incorporating important considerations regarding minimal downtime, high availability, data redundancy, tight security, etc. into the design
