Rekise Marine is building autonomous ships and submarines that operate in the world's most hostile environments. We're executing India's flagship autonomous submarine project — the Jalkapi XLAUV — on order from the Indian Navy. This is an unmanned submarine weighing over 20 tons that can travel 5,000+ kilometers autonomously and operate in the ocean for 30+ days at a time.

We're creating some of the largest autonomous robots in the world, machines with direct impact on the global economy and national security. While autonomous cars in India may still be a dream, autonomous ships and submarines are already a reality, and it is possible to build for the world from India.

The Role

We're at a critical inflection point with rapid growth across team size, operations, and revenue. We're onboarding institutional investors and executing complex defense contracts on tight deadlines. We need a Financial Controller to build robust financial operations and systems that can scale with us. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll shape the financial foundation of a pioneering deep-tech company, working directly with the Founder/CEO and becoming a key strategic partner as we grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Operations & Controls: Establish robust internal controls across multi-location operations. Own payments, approvals, and cash management. Build scalable processes for complex procurement (from local purchases to international imports).

• MIS & Strategic Reporting: Develop comprehensive management information systems for leadership and board. Create dashboards providing real-time visibility into key financial and operational metrics.

• Investor Relations: Serve as primary financial interface with institutional investors. Prepare investor reports, due diligence materials, and financial presentations.

• Fundraising Support: Support fundraising efforts with financial models, projections, and investor materials. Plan capital expenditure for long-term growth.

• Compliance & Audit: Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements. Manage relationships with external agencies for accounting and secretarial services.

• Business Finance: Partner with leadership on business planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Develop project-level financial tracking for defense contracts.

Required Qualifications

• CA (Chartered Accountant) or ICWA/CMA with 6-10 years of progressive finance experience.
• 3+ years in high-growth startups (Series A-B stage preferred), with experience scaling financial operations during rapid growth.
• Demonstrated experience working with institutional investors (VCs, PE funds) and supporting fundraising processes.
• Strong foundation in establishing internal controls, financial policies, and implementing systems (ERP, expense management, reporting tools).
• Deep knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, income tax, company law, and regulatory compliance.
• Strategic thinking beyond pure accounting. Ability to translate financial data into business insights and support decision-making.
• Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail. Self-starter who takes initiative and solves problems proactively.

Preferred Experience

• Hardware, manufacturing, or defense sectors — understanding of complex inventory management, long procurement cycles, and government contracts.
• Prior senior finance leadership role in a startup environment.
• Experience with international transactions, forex management, and import-export compliance.
• Track record of successfully supporting multiple fundraising rounds.

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright and solid knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript. The ideal candidate should be passionate about ensuring product quality, building reliable automation frameworks, and collaborating effectively across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and ensure quality across all releases.
• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across multiple browsers and environments.
• Contribute to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes by integrating test automation into pipelines.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices in test automation are followed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3–6 years of experience in QA Automation, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience using Playwright.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for writing and maintaining automation scripts.
• Experience testing web applications (frontend and API layers).
• Familiarity with REST API testing and automation using frameworks like Postman, Newman, or similar.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, QA methodologies, and SDLC/STLC.
• Experience working with Git, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI), and bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with test reporting tools (e.g., Allure, Playwright Test Reporter).
• Exposure to API contract testing and mocking tools.
