The Opportunity

The Sales team @ Appknox is one of the most active and agile teams in the organisation. With multiple channels to penetrate the  global markets, the team is a right mix of dynamic ,aggressive and experienced professionals added with a go getter attitude. The team interacts with the CXOs and leadership teams of global firms  and has closed high value deals including Fortune 500 / 100 Enterprises. What An Ideal Candidate Would Look Like: 

  • 4+ years of experience in enterprise or business development in a SaaS company.
  • Relevant experience in a cyber security company building a strong sales pipeline. .
  • 2-3 yrs of Sales experience in working for International markets.
  • The candidate will be resourceful enough to set-up processes and working methods, strategic enough to provide thought leadership and execution oriented enough to build a robust pipeline.

Requirements: -

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Management, Marketing or related field from top-tier school.
  • Advanced skill-set for gathering requirements, writing SOWs, documenting RFI/RFPs, submitting commercial proposals.
  • Expertise to work on executive presentations, HubSpot CRM and other sales & marketing focused automation tools is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to persuade, influence, negotiate and make formal presentations in meetings and training environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Role is for International Geography.
  • Drive end to end sales cycles including lead generation, sales presentations, technology demonstrations, commercial proposal submissions, contract negotiations, revenue generation and account receivables .
  • Develop a consulting and a trusted advisory relationship with client stakeholders, executive sponsors.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate client needs on an ongoing basis and convert client needs into enterprise contracts to meet sales quota/target

What An Ideal Candidate Would Look Like: 

  • Skills - Application Penetration Testing (Web, iOS and Android), experience with IoT testing, source code audits.
  • Technology Stack: AWS, GCP, Objective C, Java, Python

The Opportunity


Customer Success contributes to our efforts to enhance and transform the Appknox customer experience via a customer-centric approach (building and maintaining relationships, proactively identifying potential crises that may be detrimental to the user experience, meeting, and exceeding customer expectations). Thus, helping to differentiate Appknox.This position provides the opportunity to tame different use cases across multiple industries and interact with some of the smartest individuals from other fast-growing companies that are our customers. We see this role requiring an intersection of three key skills – Business Acumen & Problem solving, Product Perspective, and People Skills.


What An Ideal Candidate Would Look Like:


  • 1-3 years of work experience in a customer-facing role such as Customer Success, Customer Support, Technical Account Management, Customer Onboarding roles at SaaS companies.
  • Customer-oriented attitude that drives results and achieves high levels of Partner (Resellers) and customer satisfaction
  • -Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills that delight Partners (Resellers) and their customers
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary.
  • Has experience in upselling & cross selling.

 

Work Expectations

Within 1 month

You should have a complete hold of the product and value customers are getting from it.

Interact with at least 5 partners and receive feedback that we should be focusing on.

Within 3 months

You need to have a clear understanding of onboarding customers. 


Suggest CR(Customer Requests) for the Product team to evaluate and consider in the product roadmap.

Initiate QBRs on a monthly basis with the partners and engage with them to ensure they get value++.


Understand how to build the engagement pipeline for each of the partners you are owning and document all engagements.

Within 6 months

You should have discipline and document all of the ongoing discussions. 


Own CS for your partners and set up a process that needs to be implemented for better customer experience.


We need an owner for this position who can in future build the CSM team below to drive overall customer success.

  • Appknox is looking to hire a Customer Success Manager to manage a portfolio of current customers. 
  • In this role, your primary responsibility is to understand the customer’s goals and ensure that they are successful in achieving those goals using Appknox. 
  • Our ideal candidate should have 1 - 3 years experience in working with customers in Customer Success/Account Management/Customer Onboarding roles.
