The Opportunity

To join the security team engaging with multiple clients, helping them with end-to-end security audits, also researching new topics and vulnerabilities to be added to the scanner, present research at conferences.

What An Ideal Candidate Would Look Like: 

• Skills - Application Penetration Testing, experience with IoT testing, source code audits.
• Technology Stack: Python
• Responsibilities: Engage with clients for scoping call, perform security audits, and remediation call with clients to patch the issues, research on new technologies/vulnerabilities

Minimum Requirements

• Should have at least 2 years of experience in security or show something that proves experience doesn’t matter
• Must be comfortable with tools like burp suite, 
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Strong grasp of fundamentals of information security
• Strong Grasp of Web and API Pen-Testing
• Self-taught learner willing to read and keep up-to-date on technological changes and how they could be used
• Can accurately define an issue and create detailed Proof-of-concept and write-up of the findings.
• Provide appropriate remediation and mitigations of the identified vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Security assessment of web applications.
• Develop and interpret security standards and guides
• Automation of security test cases
• Understand and explain the results with impact on business and compliance status
• Continuously learning and training on the latest tools and techniques

• Anyone pursuing their graduation or post-graduation related to IT security 
• Skills - Application Penetration Testing, 
• Knowledge or experience of IoT testing, and source code audits are plus points

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or GCP. Security knowledge in this domain is a plus.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer(Python) who, along with our excellent software development team, will be responsible for working on projects that are currently being developed by our company. Duties will include but are not limited to developing, and directing software system validation, and testing methods as well as directing our software programming initiatives. You will also be working closely with clients and cross-functional departments to communicate project statuses and proposals.

You will be working hands-on on products built in Django Framework, and revolve around developing and maintaining distributed services. The language stack extends from the majority of Python to Golang, Rust, and possibly low-level languages such as C. Distributed systems are an integral part of our core architecture; as such, you will get hands-on experience in maintaining and scaling such systems. Responsibilities:

• Working on a disruptive product in the Security Domain
• Responsible for driving innovation in Software Development, while relentlessly improving performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Owning the design process, implementation, and verification of framework components leveraging standard software engineering methodologies
• Translating functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design.
• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
• Write well-designed, testable code
• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
• Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
• Comply with project plans and industry standards
• Ensure software is maintained with regular update

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of work experience (Experience is optional if you can showcase your work)
• Ability to develop software in Django, Python, Django REST Framework (DRF)
• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORMs (Django ORM, SQLAlchemy)
• Experience developing web applications
• Experience with test-driven development is a bonus
• Proficiency in software engineering tools
• Ability to document requirements and specifications

• Switching to TDD (Test Driven Development)

• Going forward the role will eventually take into full ownership of the technical aspects of the specific product feature.
