Job Title: Jewelry Product Designer

Job Type - Full Time

Location – Indore

Summary/Objective:

The Jewelry Product Designer holds a pivotal role in crafting innovative and visually captivating jewelry designs. Responsibilities encompass conceptualization, sketching, and development of jewelry pieces while staying attuned to industry trends and customer preferences. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is integral, ensuring designs seamlessly progress from concept to production.

Responsibilities/Duties:

1.   Design Conceptualization:

·        Generate imaginative and brand-aligned jewelry design concepts.

·        Conduct market research to remain abreast of current trends and customer preferences.

2.   Sketching:

·        Create detailed sketches of jewelry designs.

3.   Material Selection:

·        Collaborate with procurement teams to choose suitable materials for each design.

·        Ensure that chosen materials align with design concepts and meet quality standards.

4.   Collaboration:

·        Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, marketing, and sales.

·        Collaborate with craftsmen and artisans to bring designs to fruition.

5.   Quality Assurance:

·        Maintain a high standard of quality for all designs and finished products.

·        Conduct regular quality checks during the production process.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Education:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Jewelry Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.

Experience:

·        Minimum of 3 years of experience in Jewelry Product Design.

Skills:

·        Strong understanding of materials, gemstones, and manufacturing processes.

·        Excellent sketching and rendering abilities.

Attention to detail and a keen sense of aesthetics

• Developing marketing plans: Create annual marketing plans and objectives for products and services

ROR

1-2 years of experience working with Ruby on rails as well as libraries like Resque and RSpec.

Good experience with Redis, Sidekiq, and Docker.

Ability to write clean ruby code.

Proficiency with code versioning tools including Git, Github, Gitlab, and SVN.

Experience with AngularJS or React JS is a plus.

Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, RESTful, and ORM.

Good understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, Jquery, and CSS3.

Knowledge of server-side templating languages including Slim, Haml, and ERB.

Familiarity with tools like Jira, Postman, Slack, and Microsoft Teams.

1. Min 3 yrs of experience in Software Development
2. 2+ yrs of experience in Blockchain & Hyperledger experience is a must
3. Good experience with Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Devops, and Cloud Technologies.
4. Experience with Java / Golang / Python / Nodejs / ROR / C# or any OO Language.
5. Nice to have CHFA or CHFD certifications 

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform

Required Skills: 

• JAVA - Core JAVA Concepts, Socket Communication, Multithreading, Exception Handling, Collections Framework, Reflections, I/O, XML, HTML, JSON, YML
• Database version management tools like Liquibase etc.
• Version control system like GIT. Hands-on experience with strong knowledge of branching, merging,
• Build systems like Maven, Gradle, Ant etc.
• Hands-on experience in running development environment on Unix/Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Cloud computing experience, Integration with third-party devices, experience in writing REST APIs, shell scripting knowledge will be an added advantage.
