Job Description – Technical Product Manager - Java • Serve as primary product expert and evangelist • Lead product design, development and release process for assigned products and maintain the product development road map • Coordinate the collection, description, analysis and prioritization of requests for new product functionality from customers and prospects • Create detailed use cases, business requirements, and marketing requirements • Support marketing, sales and support through leading the development and maintenance of various technical marketing collateral including application notes, FAQs, product notes, user guides, field training, presentations, online marketing content and demos • Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses • Coordinate beta testing of new products and features. Document and report problems and recommend solutions/improvements to program managers. Participate in product performance benchmarking activities • Work with business stakeholders to balance business and technical objectives and manifest these as clear, stable priorities for the team Turn high- level project objectives into a comprehensive set of stories by leading intensive, multi- discipline, collaboration sessions • Collaborate with UI designers to understand and incorporate visual design, interaction modeling, and information architecture into functional specifications • Effectively manage trade- offs between cost/ schedule versus business benefit • Work closely with developers, testers, and operations teams in an agile environment to launch the product that is stable in production and satisfies scalability, reliability, and performance goals • Gather requirements, write technical specifications and manage project to ensure high quality products are delivered in time • Align business and technical components to achieve desired goals
