Role Overview
As an Animator at MotionGility, your primary focus will be bringing static designs to life using clean, smooth, and modern motion graphics. This role is dedicated to animation—designing assets from scratch is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Animate videos using After Effects (2D, motion graphics, typography, infographics).
- Interpret storyboards and design files to convert them into polished animations.
- Add transitions, motion, timing, effects, SFX, music, and movement to enhance storytelling.
- Collaborate with designers to ensure seamless import and preparation of assets.
- Manage project renders, versions, and AE compositions.
- Maintain consistency and animation quality across all deliverables.
- Implement feedback efficiently and work within tight deadlines.
Requirements
- Strong command over After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Solid understanding of animation principles: timing, spacing, easing, anticipation, follow-through, etc.
- Ability to animate characters, icons, graphics, typography, and mixed-media elements.
- Experience handling complete AE projects end-to-end.
- Experience in character rigging.
- Ability to create Lottie/UI animations.
- Basic knowledge of Premiere Pro editing.
- Knowledge of 3D tools (optional but good to have).
