Job Description

Wednesday is a digital agency based in Pune that believes design is the heart and soul of everything we do.  We partner with businesses to provide expertise in Data Engineering, Applied AI, and App Development through our Launch, Catalyse, Amplify, and Control services.

Design is at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for a talented and inspiring Design Lead to join our highly skilled, driven, and inclusive team.

Responsibilities

• Understand the problem: Understand what our customers are doing for their users. What pain points are they solving?
• Understand the goal: Understand what they want to achieve.
• Understand the strategy: Understand their product strategy. How do they plan to achieve their goal?
• Create a design strategy: Define the design direction and have a clear vision for the product.
• Lead: Guide and lead a team of designers to execute the design strategy.
• Learn: Learn new skills and build design practices. Encourage the team to learn new skills and share what they have learned.
• Showcase: Showcase your and your team's expertise.

Requirements

• Exceptional visual & experience design capabilities.
• Should have hands-on product design experience and a portfolio.
• Should have hands-on web & graphic design experience and a portfolio.
• Min 4 years of experience in a product design role.
• Experience in managing a team.
• Understanding of design systems.
• Attention to detail and care about team deliverables.
• Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders.

Opportunity

Work on improving the flows and overall architecture of the core product at OneCard and OneScore. 

What you will do:

• Execute all product design flows and visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
• Conceptualize original mobile design ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex roadblocks.
• Create seamless navigation flows and architecture to improve discoverability, engagement and conversions. 
• Leverage user testing to make product improvements.
• Participate in contributing ideas, updates, and product development areas to the team.

Experience Range: 

Proven 2-3 years of work experience as a Product Designer. Must have worked on digital products. Familiar with user research practices. Having worked in the app product space is a huge plus. 

Technical Expertise:

• Demonstrable Product design skills with a strong portfolio is a must.
• Proficiency in Adobe XD, Illustrator and Figma is a must.
• Design eye-catching mobile app experiences for our app experiences.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Be able to work in a cross-functional team as well as independently solve UX-related problems.
• Up-to-date with the latest Mobile app trends, techniques, and technologies.
• BS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or Visual Arts is a plus.

RELEASE MANAGER

We are seeking a collaborative, organized, process and detail oriented Release manager to drive high quality, on-time deployment of quarterly product releases by designing, implementing and executing effective release management processes in a collaboration with global Engineering, Operations, Product Management, services and Technical Support teams.

Responsibilities

•  Managing risks and resolving challenges that impact release scope, quality, and
• schedules
• Planning release windows and cycles across portfolios, components
• Managing relationships working on interrelated processes
• Communicating crucial release plans and changes
• Measuring and monitoring progress to achieve a timely software release within
• defined budgetary limits and defined quality standards
• Producing deployment, implementation, and run books plans
• Conducting release readiness and milestone reviews
