Nimuki – D2C Kidswear Brand (by Purrple Orryx, Dubai)
About Nimuki
Nimuki is an upcoming D2C kidswear brand being built for the Indian market.
We are currently in the pre-launch stage — setting up supply, operations, and the core team from scratch. Nimuki is backed by Purrple Orryx (Dubai-based business), and India will be its primary growth market.
There is no “existing system” here yet, we’re building everything from the ground up.
Why this role exists
We are looking for someone who can own the India business end-to-end not manage it later, but build it from day 0.
This role exists so the business can run independently on-ground in Kolkata, without constant founder intervention.
You will act as the operational backbone of Nimuki India.
What this role really is
This is not a corporate BM role.
- There are no fixed systems yet
- There will be ambiguity
- You will create structure where none exists
You are the operator who makes things happen daily
What you will own
- End-to-end India operations (from production to delivery)
- Supplier coordination: sampling, production timelines, QC
- Launch planning and execution
- Shopify + payments + logistics readiness
- 3PL setup, dispatch, returns, and reconciliation
- Inventory accuracy and stock planning
- Customer experience and issue resolution
- Managing a small internal team + freelancers
- Building SOPs for all core workflows
- Weekly reporting and business dashboards
- Working capital discipline and inventory control
What success looks like (first 90 days)
You will help bring Nimuki to life with:
- A clear launch calendar
- Supplier + production tracking systems
- SKU master + inventory structure
- 3PL onboarding and dispatch workflows
- Returns and exchange processes
- Weekly founder dashboards
- A stable, low-chaos launch

Who we’re looking for
- 5–8 years of experience
- Background in D2C, e-commerce, apparel, or consumer brands
- Strong in execution across multiple functions
- Understands inventory, logistics, and basic P&L
- Comfortable working closely with manufacturers and warehouses
- Based in Kolkata (or willing to relocate)
- Hands-on with Excel / Google Sheets (Shopify familiarity is a plus)

Role and Responsibilities :-
- Manage the development, launch of new features and growth of the eCommerce site
- Understanding the different products and features as per the domain.
- Design the product road map.
- Ensure all content and consumer journeys are optimised for user experience and deliver the best experience across mobile, tablet and desktop
- Develop and lead relationships with internal and external third parties (i.e., finance, logistics, supply chain) to ensure that the E-comm proposition works flawless end-to-end for the consumer
