As an Assistant Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving product
development, coordinating with various teams, and helping to bring new
features to market. You will work closely with the Product Manager and other
stakeholders to ensure the product continues to evolve in alignment with
customer needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in defining the product roadmap, working closely with the Product
Manager.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design,
marketing, and customer support to execute product plans.
• Help in prioritizing features, manage backlogs, and track product
development progress.
• Gather feedback from users, analyze data, and identify trends to inform
product improvements.
• Support in conducting market research to stay updated on industry trends
and competitors.
• Work with the product team to write and maintain Product Requirement
Documents (PRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs).

We are looking for a Product QA Analyst, with at least 2 years of QA experience and who will undertake the Quality Assurance testing of our web app (https://typito.com). Apart from QA, the role entails working closely on product lifecycle and product evolution along with the Product Management and the Technology team.
Responsibilities:

- Work closely with engineers and product managers in rolling out new features and enhancements across Typito.
- Own and manage an exhaustive list of test-cases as part of the product development and document iterations of testing we do
- Develop an understanding of the Typito product and document use-case scenarios
- Own efforts on Functional, Regression, UI testing for Web and Mobile
- Participate in product feature rollouts and suggest useful feature additions on the app and recommend improvements in Typito to enhance user experience
- Be an advocate of app performance and lead initiatives on this front.
Requirements:
- Experience - At least 2 years experience being part of a QA team with defined responsibilities that gave you exposure to efficient testing and deployment processes.
- Impeccable communication skills - You'll be collaborating with multiple teams, having the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical people is necessary.
- Critical thinking skills - You know how to think from a customer's perspective throughout the entire development cycle #empathy. You should be able to create lots of "What If" scenarios and make sure the app is battle-tested to handle those scenarios.
- Quick learner - Typito app is changing at a rapid pace, there is no single way to handle issues that come up. You must adapt quickly to new tools and techniques that keep improving your own workflow.
- Collaboration skills - As mentioned above, you'll be collaborating with developers and product managers, alike. It's important that you understand how to convey important issues to other people, and to listen well. We believe in the power of red-flagging and we expect the QA function to help us get upto speed on challenges faced by our customers.
- Automation testing skills is a strong plus as we would be experimenting with automation suites that can make our QA function more robust and efficient.

- Working with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
- Running beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples

- Determining customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
- Recommending the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements
- Appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
- Assessing market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
- Providing source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
- Obtaining product market share by working with sales director to develop product sales strategies.
- Facilitating inventory turnover and product availability by reviewing and adjusting inventory levels and production schedules.
- Bringing new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs
- Preparing return-on-investment analysis and establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing
- Introducing and marketing new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production.
- Determining product pricing by utilizing market research data and reviewing production and sales costs
- Anticipating volume and special costing and customized orders.
- Completing operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
- Maintaining product management staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Maintaining product management staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution, preferably in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering)
- Preferable MBA degree
- Should have a minimum 3 to 6 years of product management experience (electronics and accessories)
- Significant experience in a startup environment, and taking products from inception to launch
- Strong understanding of consumer electronics and related industry
- Should have demonstrated history of accountability and performance delivery, including leading teams to meet or exceed objectives
- Deep working knowledge of networking, procuring, logistics and sourcing
- Should have the capacity for self-motivation, independent initiative and creative problem-solving
- Should have the ability to manage time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines and influence through persuasive written and verbal communication
