Work Schedule: 6 days a week

• Role Overview
• The Senior Production Manager will lead and manage end-to-end manufacturing operations at the factory.
• This is a hands-on, factory-floor leadership role requiring deep experience in namkeens and snack production.
• The role will be critical in ensuring production efficiency, quality consistency, hygiene standards, and scalability as the business grows.
• The individual will work closely with founders, quality, supply chain, and operations teams to build robust production systems without compromising on taste, safety, or clean-label commitments.
•   Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily production planning and execution to meet volume, quality, and cost targets.
• Manage factory-floor operations, workforce planning, and shift management.
• Ensure inventory is readily available, both raw material & packaging material
• Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Optimize production processes to reduce wastage, improve yield, and enhance efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and quality across batches, especially for namkeens and snack products.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure raw material availability and cost efficiency.
• Train, mentor, and manage production staff, supervisors, and line managers.
• Build and sustain a strong, performance-driven factory culture.

 Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience working on the factory floor 
• At least 5 years of specialized experience in namkeens, snacks, or similar Indian food categories.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of production processes, machinery, hygiene standards, and food safety regulations.
• Proven experience in scaling production for growing brands and improving operational efficiency.
• Ability to manage large factory teams and solve real-time production challenges.
• Practical, execution-focused leadership style with strong on-ground presence.
• Degree in Food Technology, Food Processing, or equivalent

Role Summary

The Production Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing plans and schedules to produce complex aerospace components. This role ensures efficient material flow, maximizes resource utilization, and guarantees all production activities meet rigorous safety and quality standards (AS9100).

Key Responsibilities

 Production Scheduling: Create and maintain detailed production schedules and work orders that balance customer demand, material availability, and facility capacity across various manufacturing cells (e.g., CNC machining, assembly and Fabrication).

 Process Optimization: Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., Kaizen events, value stream mapping) to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.

 Work Instruction Development: Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to develop clear, detailed work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and build plans that comply with engineering specifications and quality requirements.

 ERP/MRP Management: Utilize the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, IFS) to manage production data, track inventory, update BOMs (Bill of Materials), and monitor work-in-progress (WIP).

 Capacity & Resource Planning: Conduct capacity analyses for labor and machinery, forecasting future needs and coordinating with management to ensure adequate resources are available for upcoming projects.

 Problem Solving & Coordination: Act as the technical liaison between the production floor, quality assurance, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve immediate production issues (material shortages, design queries, quality holds) and prevent delays.

 Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all planning and production activities adhere strictly to aerospace quality management systems (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001). Maintain accurate production records and performance metrics (KPIs).

Required Qualifications and Skills

 Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.

Experience:  Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing engineering, or process planning within an aerospace or high-compliance, regulated manufacturing environment.

 Hands-on experience with typical aerospace manufacturing processes (e.g., precision machining, sheet metal fabrication, complex assembly).

Technical Skills:

 ERP/MRP Proficiency: Strong proficiency in using major ERP/MRP systems for production planning and inventory control.

 Methodologies: Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.

 Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., advanced Excel, Minitab).

 Technical Acumen: Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5 standards.

Soft Skills:
