  • Role Overview
  • The Senior Production Manager will lead and manage end-to-end manufacturing operations at the factory.
  • This is a hands-on, factory-floor leadership role requiring deep experience in namkeens and snack production.
  • The role will be critical in ensuring production efficiency, quality consistency, hygiene standards, and scalability as the business grows.
  • The individual will work closely with founders, quality, supply chain, and operations teams to build robust production systems without compromising on taste, safety, or clean-label commitments.

  • Oversee daily production planning and execution to meet volume, quality, and cost targets.
  • Manage factory-floor operations, workforce planning, and shift management.

Role Summary


The Production Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing plans and schedules to produce complex aerospace components. This role ensures efficient material flow, maximizes resource utilization, and guarantees all production activities meet rigorous safety and quality standards (AS9100).


Key Responsibilities


 Production Scheduling: Create and maintain detailed production schedules and work orders that balance customer demand, material availability, and facility capacity across various manufacturing cells (e.g., CNC machining, assembly and Fabrication).


 Process Optimization: Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., Kaizen events, value stream mapping) to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.


 Work Instruction Development: Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to develop clear, detailed work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and build plans that comply with engineering specifications and quality requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills


 Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.


Experience:  Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing engineering, or process planning within an aerospace or high-compliance, regulated manufacturing environment.


 Hands-on experience with typical aerospace manufacturing processes (e.g., precision machining, sheet metal fabrication, complex assembly).


Technical Skills:


 ERP/MRP Proficiency: Strong proficiency in using major ERP/MRP systems for production planning and inventory control.


 Methodologies: Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.

 Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., advanced Excel, Minitab).

 Technical Acumen: Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5 standards.
