As an Inside Sales Specialist for Google Maps, you would be involved in Business development and expansion across South-East Asia. You will inspire and advocate businesses of all sizes to leverage Google Maps technology. Using your passion for technology, you help spread the magic of Google Maps to organizations around the world. The vision is to build Searce's brand as one of the world’s best premier partners for Google Maps. Roles and Responsibilities: Work towards strategic goals while prioritizing an outstanding customer experience. Communicate effectively with English and Mandarin speaking clients. Contribute to the territory strategy in developing growth opportunities. Major Involvement in developing deep, meaningful relationships with external stakeholders and seeking out opportunities for strategic partnerships across business verticals in different countries Drive business development, forecast accurately and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the end-to-end business cycle. Explore and understand complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level. Lead demand generation and other campaigns from conception, planning, execution, and launch to post-launch analysis. Establish key relationships cross-functionally with regional peers, Sales Operations, Product Management, Product Marketing teams; and identify and pursue business development opportunities. Analyze data trends and performance, prepare and conduct presentations, and maintain effective communication with customers via phone/email and video conferencing technologies. Maintain operational excellence for information relating to accounts and forecast. Education, Experience, etc. Is Education overrated? Yes. We believe so. However, there is no way to locate you otherwise. So, unfortunately, we might look for a Bachelor's degree in engineering from a reputed institute or you should have been solving real-world problems since you were 12. And the latter is better. We will find you faster if you specify the latter in some manner. :) 1-2 years of experience of business development, consulting sales experience on large-scale, services and cloud implementation Prior experience in recruitment, training & grooming of geeks. Actively contribute to building the talent pipeline; create a talent experience that attracts, develops and retains top talent and high performing teams Preferred qualifications (just for reference): Experience in working towards strategic goals in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS or IaaS products. Understanding the technology and cloud computing market and a passion for Google Maps and Cloud. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment. Ability to build relationships and to deliver results in a cross-functional/matrixed environment. Ability to take initiative, work towards goals, and zoom in and out for the big picture with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Technical / Professional Expertise and Qualifications Bachelor degree in Engineering or Master’s degree in Business Management (preferable) 1-2 years of relevant experience in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS or IaaS products and platforms, GIS, Location intelligence, Maps (preferable) Relevant work experience of direct client sales, product marketing, online campaigns. Ability to easily connect with C-level across the globe Effective written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
