Position: AWS Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy and monitor applications on AWS.
• Implement security best practices.
• Optimize cloud costs and performance.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, and Lambda.
• Experience with Linux and networking.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Scripting skills in Python or Bash.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• AWS certification is a plus.
• 1–3 years of cloud or system administration experience.

• Strong Software Engineering Profile
• Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 5+ years of experience using Python to design software solutions.
• Mandatory (Skills 1): Strong working experience with Python (with Django framework experience) and Microservices architecture is a must.
• Mandatory (Skills 2): Must have experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka
• Mandatory (Skills 3): Must have Experience in DevOps practices and container orchestration using Kubernetes, along with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Mandatory (Company): Product companies, Experience working in fintech, banking, or product companies is a plus.
• Mandatory (Education): Educational background must be from a premium institute (IIT, IIIT, NIT, MNNIT, VITS, BITS)

Preferred

• Preferred (Skills 1): Experience in Task Queues like Celery and RabbitMQ is preferred.
• Preferred (Skills 2): Experience with RDBMS/SQL is also preferrable.

Qualifications and Experience

• 3-5 years managing cross disciplinary products at scale as a product manager
• Strong passion for Privacy. Although no previous experience in this domain is required and mentorship will be provided, you must be willing to become a deep expert in this field.
• Computer Engineering or Software Engineering background with the ability to parse various layers of a software stack (to understand its implications on Privacy)
• A history of building and cultivating lasting cross-functional partnerships with both internal and external groups across Engineering, Product, Security, and Legal
• You are a strategic problem solver and valued collaborator; you are just as comfortable strategizing and leading as you are diving into the details of product work when circumstances require it.
• An entrepreneurial mentality and are flexible, self-motivated, dedicated, and hard-working. You actively recognise needs, resolve problems, anticipate issues, and develop solutions.

• Experience with tracking and improving critical KPIs on a dashboard.
• Content is going to be a huge part of our marketing efforts. Having experience in driving relevant traffic from content and measuring conversion and ROI from it is required.
• Strong understanding of how to drive relevant traffic from channels like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, search – both organic and paid.
• Practical experience with email marketing is a must. Proficiency with marketing tools & technologies like email automation, landing page design and instrumentation, and A/B testing are a must.
• Strong sense of product as you’ll be a key influencer in how the product shapes over time.
• Creative thinker, story-teller and problem solver with attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably a master’s degree is required.
• Hands on experience in the eCommerce domain, especially on the seller side.
• Understand how to build and nurture a community of users, advocates and influencers and use this to amplify the word of mouth for the product.
• Exceptional writing skills, ability to edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar and accuracy.
• Hands on experience or comfortable with any or all of the following: SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript or programming in any language is a strong plus.
• Any experience with data sciences and analytics, R or python.
• Knowledge of or experience with UI/UX, graphics design or product management.
• US education is a strong plus. All customers are in the US to having spent time there and cultural familiarity is helpful.

• Draw up enterprise-wide architecture blueprint and enforce its implementation across products and systems
• Build from ground up, a scalable Enterprise platform infrastructure with multiple client applications and enterprise connectors
• Design, develop and deploy features and APIs with high quality standards
• As an individual contributor, evaluate technology options, build PoCs and prototypes
• Manage the infrastructure hosted in the Cloud. Monitor system reliability, uptime and security.
• Contribute significantly in reviewing architecture, code, design & test-cases authored by peers.

• 8-10 years of design and development experience building scalable & distributed systems
• Hands-on experience on one or more of the following tech stacks:
  • Python-Django, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, nginx, RabbitMQ, Redis
  • Microservices, REST APIs, NodeJS, Celery, Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana
• Good understanding of OOPS concepts, design patterns, SQL. Good at troubleshooting/debugging.
• Experience with managing server infrastructure in GCP, Azure and AWS cloud.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from reputed institutes
• Nice to have: Hands-on experience with analytics using Kibana and Elastic Search
