Job Summary
GMI is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive eCommerce Specialist to manage and enhance the digital product catalog and order fulfillment operations on our LabCore platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate product listings, coordinating dropship orders with OEMs, and ensuring a seamless post-sale experience. This role bridges communication between internal teams, customers, and suppliers, playing a pivotal role in delivering a high-quality online shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update product listings, descriptions, specifications, and pricing on the LabCore platform.
- Create, upload, and optimize digital content (images, descriptions, specs) to enhance user engagement.
- Manage the full order lifecycle—place dropship orders with OEMs, track progress, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Provide timely customer updates regarding order confirmations, shipping, and delivery timelines.
- Handle post-sale support including returns, issue resolution, and customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with OEMs and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and responsive fulfillment operations.
- Track and analyze platform metrics such as traffic, conversions, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Work with marketing to align platform content with promotional campaigns and product launches.
- Maintain accurate records in eCommerce systems including order logs, customer communications, and inventory data.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in eCommerce, customer service, or order management—experience in a technical/scientific industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with lab equipment and scientific terminology is advantageous.
- Proficient in eCommerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento, or proprietary platforms).
- Strong knowledge of digital content management tools and best practices.
- Experience with dropshipping and third-party vendor coordination.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a strong customer service orientation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/ERP systems such as NetSuite or Salesforce.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with keen attention to detail.
