Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking an individual with expert knowledge in Systems Management and/or Systems Monitoring Software, Observability platforms and/or Performance Management Software and Solutions with insight into integrated infrastructure platforms like Cisco UCS, infrastructure providers like Nutanix, VMware, EMC & NetApp and public cloud platforms like Google Cloud and AWS to expand the depth and breadth of Virtana Products.

Role Responsibilities: 

• The engineer will be primarily responsible for architecture, design and development of software solutions for the Virtana Platform 
• Partner and work closely with cross functional teams and with other engineers and product managers to architect, design and implement new features and solutions for the Virtana Platform. 
• Communicate effectively across the departments and R&D organization having differing levels of technical knowledge.  
• Work closely with UX Design, Quality Assurance, DevOps and Documentation teams. Assist with functional and system test design and deployment automation 
• Provide customers with complex and end-to-end application support, problem diagnosis and problem resolution 
• Learn new technologies quickly and leverage 3rd party libraries and tools as necessary to expedite delivery 

Required Qualifications:    

• Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience with back-end development in a Client Server Application development environment focused on Systems Management, Systems Monitoring and Performance Management Software. 
• Deep experience in public cloud environment using Kubernetes and other distributed managed services like Kafka etc (Google Cloud and/or AWS) 
• Experience with CI/CD and cloud-based software development and delivery 
• Deep experience with integrated infrastructure platforms and experience working with one or more data collection technologies like SNMP, REST, OTEL, WMI, WBEM. 
• Minimum of 6 years of development experience with one or more of these high level languages like GO, Python, Java. Deep experience with one of these languages is required. 
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or equivalent 
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to lead and participate in multiple projects 
• Well versed with identifying opportunities and risks in a fast-paced environment and ability to adjust to changing business priorities 
• Must be results-focused, team-oriented and with a strong work ethic 

Desired Qualifications: 

• Prior experience with other virtualization platforms like OpenShift is a plus 
• Prior experience as a contributor to engineering and integration efforts with strong attention to detail and exposure to Open-Source software is a plus 
• Demonstrated ability as a lead engineer who can architect, design and code with strong communication and teaming skills 
• Deep development experience with the development of Systems, Network and performance Management Software and/or Solutions is a plus

Job Description

Site Engineer – Civil Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) 

Job Summary:​

The Site Engineer for MRO is responsible for assisting in the maintenance, repair, 

and operational activities of civil infrastructure and facilities. This role supports senior 

engineers and maintenance teams to ensure that all civil works are executed efficiently, 

safely, and in compliance with relevant standards. 

Key Responsibilities: 

∙Assist in the inspection and assessment of buildings, roads, drainage systems, and 

other civil structures. 

∙Prepare and maintain maintenance schedules for routine and preventive tasks. 

∙Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repair and maintenance work. 

∙Monitor and ensure the quality and safety of ongoing repair and maintenance 

activities. 

∙Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and material usage. 

∙Assist in budgeting and cost estimation for civil MRO works. 

∙Provide technical support during emergency repairs or structural failures. 

∙Support in the procurement of materials and tools required for civil maintenance. 

∙Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. 

Skills and Qualifications: 

∙Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil Engineering. 

∙2–3 years of experience in civil maintenance or construction (internships count). 

∙Familiarity with construction materials, repair techniques, and building codes. 

∙Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools. 

∙Good communication and reporting skills. 

∙Willingness to work on-site and respond to emergency repair calls.

• Expert knowledge in WordPress installation, configuration, Administration, security, and optimization.
• Experience with WordPress Theme, Widgets and Plugin customizing and developing new wordpress themes, Plugin modification/development and widgets development.
• Strong understanding and hands-on in HTML, DHTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery/Prototype and AJAX.
• Develop high performance, highly scalable, custom development and/or plugin development for WordPress sites
• Experience with parent themes, caching systems (WP Super Cache, W3 Total Cache etc.), HyperDB, Yoast SEO.
• Strong PHP background to implement core WP functions, template tags & hooks in the theme.
• Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, ebay etc)
• Very strong understanding of database technologies and SQL Optimization.

They have a development center in Mumbai and they are looking to scale up the teams in Pune and Bangalore as well.

The Role

Based in Jaipur or Pune, you will be working in a collaborative team on cutting edge technologies in a supportive and dynamic environment. Ultimately you are responsible for building the CODI and on-boarding new clients - this involves:

• Acting as the Lead Engineer on a project. Helps ensure others follow Peak processes, such as release and version control.
• An active member of the team, through useful contributions to projects and in team meetings.
• Supervising others. Deputising for a Lead and/or support them with tasks. Mentoring new joiners/interns and Masters students. Sharing knowledge and learnings with the team.

Required Skills and Experience

• Acquired strong proven professional programming experience.
