YARDI Software Developer

The ideal candidate will have an application development background with strong technical skills in MS SQL Server, SSRS, YSR, and experience with Yardi Real Estate Software Modules. The candidate will be an expert multi-tasker with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude. They tackle tasks head, looking for opportunities to assist teams and create efficiencies. Yardi Technical Developer designs, develops, debugs, tests and implements software enhancements. Responsibilities include correcting defects in existing applications; documenting defect resolutions; planning implementation; solution customizations, configurations and enhancements.

Key Accountabilities & Tasks

§  Designs and develops front-end and back-end web application features

§  Performs maintenance programming for existing versions

§  Analyzes and documents reasons for test failure, and revises/debugs assigned programs and/or procedures as necessary

§  Uses corporate approved sourced control applications to maintain code changes

§  Understands application and uses standards

§  Adheres to department policies, procedures and standards in the development and implementation of software

§  Collaborate with all the key stakeholders to find alternatives and solutions to business challenges. Seek out systems solutions (either internal to client or external 3rd party solutions) that can be leveraged to meet business requirements.

§  Act as primary liaison with Business Solution Manager during the development lifecycle, from needs analysis and bug tracking to UAT and rollout.

§  Develop and manage working relations with Business Solution Manager, and subject matter experts to ensure the business solutions are aligned with their goals and priorities, and how process automation through IT solutions will help them reach their goals.

§  Create and maintain a cohesive, coordinated plan to deliver solutions that meet the stakeholders’ priorities within budgetary and product requirements.

§  Execute on project plans and assist others in executing on project plans across the various groups.

§  Analyze and document requirements and use appropriate techniques to refine, review and validate requirements.

§  Provide pro-active consulting in Technology and Operations Business Process design and re-engineering to uplift Nakheel Malls services to the tenants and end consumers.

§  Provide Yardi client support and technical issue resolution via Ticket System/Portal, E-Mail, phone and other electronic medium.

§  Create and enhance management reports utilizing Yardi

§  Oversee source control for report repository.

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills

§  Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent.

§  Minimum 3 years of YARDI software development experience in the similar role.

§  Ability to understand and communicate complex business requirements in technical terms.

§  Strong project management skills.

§  Experience in organizing, planning, and executing large scale IT projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors.

§  Must be able to research, write and edit content for various projects.

§  Excellent interpersonal skills to relate and communicate to all levels of the IT members.

§  Ability to take initiative and an aptitude for creative problem-solving.

§  Experience in YARDI Voyager, YARDI commercial cafe and YARDI Rent Cafe Implementation process.

§  Technical Knowledge in YARDI Orion BI Report Writing.

Job Requirement: 
• Good understanding of QA methodologies, procedures and QA documentation. Design, develop and maintain test cases.
• Work closely with onsite team & client on Application Support, Maintenance & Implementation tasks.
• Must be able to perform detailed analysis from logs, Query results for an issue reported
• Must be willing to work work in Shift Environment including night shifts and in 24x7 mode, even on Public Holidays as per roaster setup.
• Ready to travel on client site (even on short notice)
• Have sound knowledge about at least one Incident Management system/application.
• Can able to work as an individual contributor and within team as well
• Maintain relevant status reports, in timely manner
• Self-motivated, goal oriented, self-driven, strong interpersonal skills

Desired Candidate Profile:
• IT Graduate
• 3-5 years of technical experience in Application Support, Maintenance & Implementation projects, on a complex environment.
• Recent 2 years of experience in Logistics (Shipping) industry, preferably. Knowledge of Container port Operations is Preferrable  

• Work closely with the Business Analysts and Finance Business teams to gather requirements for reports, interfaces, extensions, integrations
• Develop functional and technical design and documentation for Oracle Applications dependent data  conversions, interfaces, custom reporting, and custom applications including use of documented revision control.
• Participate in the design, development and maintenance of Conversions,
• Modifications/Customizations and Interfaces to/from Oracle’s Suite of Business Applications.
• Open, manage, and resolve Oracle Service Requests with Oracle Support.
• Drive the resolution & troubleshooting of issues during development and post production support.
• Design, Document and Perform Unit Testing to validate product functionality

• Bachelors' degree in business, computer science or related field
• 6+ years of experience in supporting Oracle Financials Functions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment either on a team or as an individual contributor
• Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and to integrate business processes across disparate systems.
• Extensive Oracle Finance (Fusion) Development experience.
• Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently and consider cross-functional and downstream impacts with close attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work remotely and independently in support of Clients/Business
• Ability to work with Multicultural environment across the world

Educational Qualification - B.E / B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech, or any equivalent IT graduation or post-graduation

• J2EE - Sprint Boot Microservices.
• At least 8+ years of experience in Java development (J2EE, J2SE 8).
• Extensive experience with Spring, Spring Boot Micro Services, JPA, Hibernate.
• Extensive experience in REST and SOAP Webservices Services.
• Excellent knowledge of databases( PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience in testing tools (JUnit, SOAP UI, Postman).
• Experience in build tools – Maven, Gradle. Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
• Experience in web application servers - Tomcat, etc.
• Understanding of Agile Development methodology – SCRUM.
• Understanding of continuous integration - Jenkins, and Code versioning tools- Git
