Project Scope:

This engagement automates end-to-end infrastructure build provisioning across on-prem and Azure. The team will build a shared ServiceNow-led intake, approval, orchestration, and closed-loop status model, using Jenkins/Ansible for on-prem builds and Azure DevOps/Terraform for cloud builds. Automation includes standards, security/compliance controls, scan gates, CMDB/change updates, and handover.        

Build automated on-prem infrastructure provisioning and configuration workflows.      

Automate server builds from approved request through VM/host deployment, OS install, domain join, and baseline configuration.

Develop Jenkins, Ansible, PowerShell, and integrations for network, storage, DNS, IP, agents, patching, monitoring, backup, and security.

Integrate SCVMM/Hyper-V, VMware, OneView, SCCM, Satellite, and related tools.

Encode infrastructure standards as reusable, version-controlled automation artifacts.

Support testing, UAT, defect resolution, documentation, and hypercare.

Required Skills:

6–8 years in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or automation.

1. Work across the entire landscape that spans network, compute, storage, databases, applications, and business domain
2. Use the Big Data and AI-driven features of vuSmartMaps to provide solutions that will enable customers to improve the end-user experience for their applications
3. Create detailed designs, solutions and validate with internal engineering and customer teams, and establish a good network of relationships with customers and experts
4. Understand the application architecture and transaction-level workflow to identify touchpoints and metrics to be monitored and analyzed

6. Constantly stay ahead in communicating with customers. Manage planning and execution of platform implementation at customer sites.

1. At least 2+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Management
2. Experience in working with large-scale IT infra, including applications, databases, and networks.​

4. Hands-on experience in Linux and scripting.
5. Knowledge/Experience in the following technologies will be an added plus:​ ​ElasticSearch, Kafka, Docker Containers, MongoDB, Big Data, SQL databases, ELK stack, REST APIs, web services, and JMX.

SAP Basis / HANA 

• Solution Manager/FRUN Experience with detail knowledge of how SOLMAN system is integrated with Ticketing Tools. 
• Experience in Solution Manager Technical monitoring. 
• End to end monitoring for the sap system during the changes when the monitoring is not available or until the new one is in place 
• Manage the team to get the assigned task done on time adhering the SLA. 
• Align with different stakeholders to discuss the progress of multiple tasks. 
• SPOC of Alert management team. 
• Able to solve and coordinate RCA and support during critical system behaviour.
• Audit Experience. 
• Detailed Technical experience in SAP BASIS and HANA systems administrations. 
• Experience in setting up System Replications, High Availability and Disaster recovery.

• Knowledge in open-source technologies and cloud services like AWS, Azure is a plus. Candidates willing to learn will be preferred.
