About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with 8+ years of expertise in SAP Basis administration, system upgrades, migrations, performance tuning, and production support. The role involves managing SAP landscapes, ensuring system availability, resolving technical issues, and supporting SAP ECC/S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Administer SAP landscapes across Development, QA, UAT, and Production.
• Perform SAP installations, upgrades, kernel patching, support package implementation, and system maintenance.
• Manage STMS, system copies, refreshes, client administration, and transport management.
• Monitor system health, performance, background jobs, logs, dumps, and troubleshoot issues.
• Administer and optimize SAP HANA databases.
• Support SAP ECC/S/4HANA upgrades, migrations, and production environments.
• Manage RFCs, interfaces, batch jobs, profiles, and SAP Solution Manager.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure, Security, Network, and Cloud teams.
• Prepare technical documentation, RCA reports, and participate in on-call production support.

Required Skills :

• 8+ years of SAP Basis Administration experience.
• Strong expertise in SAP ECC/S/4HANA and SAP HANA.
• Experience with SAP installations, upgrades, migrations, kernel patching, and STMS.
• Hands-on experience with system refreshes, client administration, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, RFCs, IDocs, Linux/Unix, and database platforms (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2).
• Familiarity with ITIL-based incident and change management.

Preferred Skills :

• SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration experience.
• Exposure to SAP on AWS/Azure.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Connector, Fiori, Gateway, Web Dispatcher, HA/DR, and SUM/DMO.
• SAP Basis or SAP HANA Certification is an added advantage.

Education :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• SAP Basis Certification preferred.

Location: Any USI (Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkatta, Mumbai, Pune, Gurugram)

Budget: 25 LPA

Exp: 10+ yrs

Technical Skills:

·      SAP System Expertise:

·      Installation, Configuration, and Upgrades: Proficiency in installing, configuring, and upgrading SAP systems and components (e.g., ECC, HANA, BOBJ). 

·      Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues within the SAP environment. 

·      Performance Tuning: Knowledge of techniques to optimize SAP system performance, ensuring efficient operation. 

·      SAP Security: Expertise in managing SAP security, including user administration, role management, and authorization management. 

·      Transport Management: Understanding and proficiency in using the SAP Transport Management System (TMS) to manage software changes across the SAP landscape. 

·      Operating Systems and Database Administration:

·      Proficiency in Operating Systems: Familiarity with operating systems like Windows, Linux, and Unix, which are commonly used in SAP environments. 

·      Database Administration: Knowledge of database technologies used with SAP, such as SAP HANA or other relational databases. 

·      Monitoring Tools:

·      SAP Solution Manager: Mastery of SAP Solution Manager and other monitoring tools to proactively detect potential issues. 

·      Scripting and Automation: Ability to use scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) to automate tasks and improve efficiency. 

·      Other Technical Skills:

·      Data Migration: Understanding data migration processes and tools to ensure data integrity during upgrades or system refreshes. 

·      Java: Knowledge of Java for managing Java-based SAP applications and components. 

·      ABAP: Basic understanding of ABAP programming language for interacting with SAP systems. 

·      SQL: Knowledge of SQL for database queries and administration.

• Solution Manager/FRUN Experience with detail knowledge of how SOLMAN system is integrated with Ticketing Tools. 
• Experience in Solution Manager Technical monitoring. 
• End to end monitoring for the sap system during the changes when the monitoring is not available or until the new one is in place 
• Manage the team to get the assigned task done on time adhering the SLA.
