We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative to join our team. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the small and mid-size utility sector in the United States. You will be responsible for generating leads, making introductory calls, fostering relationships with Utility Directors, pursuing successful deal closures and engaging with channel partners.

Responsibilities:
- Prospect and identify potential customers within the small and mid-size utility market.
- Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and industry events.
- Engage with prospective customers to understand their requirements and present the value proposition of Bynry's smart platform.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies and tactics.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of Bynry's solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the Utility market
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales collateral, presentations, and proposals.
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and progress using CRM tools.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competition, and emerging technologies to effectively position Bynry's solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in demand generation, business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably within the SAAS industry.
- Familiarity with the small and mid-size utility sector and understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the industry is a huge plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with potential customers.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive skills to articulate the value proposition of Bynry's solutions.
- Self-motivated and target-driven with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales goals.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads and track sales activities.
