Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced ReactJS Developer to join our growing engineering team at Deqode. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in front-end development and a passion for building scalable, user-friendly web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and modern web applications using ReactJS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, backend, and QA.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and manage application state using Redux or Context API.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in ReactJS, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of React lifecycle methods and hooks.
• Experience with Redux, Context API, or similar state management tools.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and responsive design principles.

Big Picture (The Opportunity) : 

You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of best in class demonstration packages. Owning a library of vision setting demonstrations whilst also supporting the regional sales teams to tailor these demonstrations to customer opportunities. Empowering the sales teams with assets that are driven by business value and supported by industry data and customer use cases. Through the development of these high-value demonstration deliverables, this role will help the team to approach through the alignment of content with buyer expectations, priorities, and preferences.

What are you required to do ? (Your Responsibilities)  

• Develop knowledge of Agami’s software portfolio to a level that allows you to build, configure, document,and customize demonstration environments and associated deliverables – scripts, setup guides and videos.
• Implement latest demonstrations in Customer Experience Centers globally, and upskill local resources on how to maintain and demo the systems.
• Ability to adapt and learn new software along with industry processes and best practices to align with new business and demo requirements.
• Participate in, contribute to and lead multiple concurrent demonstration building efforts, leveraging the team wherever possible.
• Support and maintain both cloud and on-premise demonstration environments, supporting the wider presales when they reach out for technical demo support.
• Explore new ways of effectively communicating Agami value, internally and externally, and using cutting-edge digital solutions.
• Review, refine and enhance demonstrations produced by other teams, with the objective of ensuring that everything we produce is templatized, high quality and is focused on our audiences and markets.
• Operate independently based on high-level work descriptions. Prioritizing activities based on schedule and deadlines.

• Work closely with the sales team in the area of product fitment and delivery expectations
• Advice on RFP/Proposal bidding decisions based on technical compliance

Seeking passionate and senior software engineers having 5+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails.

You are a full-stack engineer with an innate passion for writing elegant, idiomatic & pragmatic code.

Opportunity in our Product Team?
Our system has over 4 products & 12 modules designed by product managers working with banking & finance experts. The company’s growth from here is based on a multi-product strategy. The way we’re scaling our product team is in-line with the company’s strategy.

Your customers are the CFOs & Finance Teams in mid to large scale enterprise businesses and you will build these products to solve the problems faced by them.

You’ll become familiar with all parts of our stack from end to end. You’ll design and implement features to be scalable and resilient by working with both our infrastructure engineers and our product engineers. You’ll be a driver for positive change to Finly’s engineering culture, processes and technology.

Payment automation by building a deep integration with multiple banking systems:

• Governance frameworks with policy controlled workflows.

WITHIN 1 MONTH, YOU'LL

• Complete Finly’s new-hire training week, and learn Accounts Payable
• Processes & the various partners we work with to make Finly happen.
• Investigate, solve and release a bug fix to production. In order to do this you will ramp up on Finly’s engineering stack by pair-programming with your teammates and attending engineering training sessions designed and presented by the team.
• Meet with cross-functional peers around the company to learn how the product functions.
• Complete your engineering starter project and deploy your first changes to production.

WITHIN 3 MONTHS, YOU'LL

• Individually contribute reliably ship full features to customers.
• Own major product areas and take features from mock to deploy.
• Estimate technical scope and time to complete major features and initiatives.

WITHIN 6 MONTHS, YOU'LL

• Move to new product vertical & initiative and start designing and architecting scalable systems as per the requirements discussed with Product Manager.
• Have made a visible impact on the product for all the users of Finly.
• Work closely with your team to remove roadblocks, educate on best practices and improve how we work.
• Be comfortable navigating most of our stack and infrastructure
• Be responsible for the planning, scoping, design, and implementation of new features
• Participate in interviewing and hiring, as a way to influence team growth and how our values inform our culture

WITHIN 12 MONTHS, YOU'LL

• Individually contribute and lead teams to reliably ship full features to customers.
• Estimate technical scope and time to complete major products and initiatives.
• Define tools and standards for product engineering to measure performance impact of releases
• Help grow other engineers technically by mentoring, pairing and developing other learning opportunities
• Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to define priorities and set delivery goals.

So in this role, you will work with the respective team’s product manager and other engineers in that team. You may work on the front-end or backend or both based on the requirement of the project.
