About our Client :-

Our client is a Communities Foundation that works in the area of skilling and livelihoods for underserved youths. This is a pioneering program with a strong PPP model, an agency-led approach to livelihoods and a vision of socio-economic transformation.

Reporting structure: Will be reporting to the Chief Corporate Development Officer.

About the Role :-

The Expansion Head has the opportunity to expand and lead the transition of Lighthouses at the national space with the scope of scaling the operations across the 5-6 states and 20+ cities over the next 2 years. This includes conducting market assessments,building the new market

expansion strategy, recruiting and managing pilot team and operations and supervising implementation of lighthouses.

We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on and entrepreneurial person to expand the Lighthouses with the ultimate aim to serve 1 million youth by 2030 .This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in a growing team, and to contribute to strategy and growth .

Roles and responsibilities:

● Develop a comprehensive road map for Expansion strategy of LCF with clear milestones and timelines

● Identifies and evaluates strategic areas and opportunities for Lighthouse expansions.

● Lead the project implementation phase of new Lighthouses for the following stages:

○ Government MoU signing

○ Donor Partnership pipeline building

○ Renovation and refurbishment work management with the Govt. departments

○ Lighthouse launch event management

● Monitor budgets and timelines

● Build a reporting structure to ensure key objectives, KPIs and impact are being measured and

shared in a clear and efficient way.

● Build and Manage a high performing team.

● Coordinate with the legal & Liasoning team from time to time to ensure the required MOU’s

and approvals are valid and available at the locations.

● Support with any other tasks as required by senior management.

Requirements -

What are we looking for:

● Education: MBA/Any Postgraduate

● Experience: 8-12 years of experience in Business development, Expansion and Operations.

Proven experience of implementing skill development programs at state level through rigorous planning and monitoring

● Excellent communication skills in English & Hindi, both written and spoken, with the ability to interact confidently with key stakeholders.

● Proactive decision-maker with a passion for project execution.

● The ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects at the same time

● Data management skills – Hands-on experience in project management and data driven program evaluation

● Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

● Partnership management

● Open to travel across at national level.

● Prior experience of working with state and national governments.

● Proven track record of timely and accurate submission of monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
