Job Title: QA Engineer – Blockchain / Web3 / DApps

Location: Noida (Onsite)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with hands-on experience in Blockchain, Web3 Wallets, and Decentralized Applications (DApps). The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability, performance, and security of blockchain-based products through both manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for Blockchain applications, Web3 Wallets, and DApps.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing across blockchain ecosystems (Ethereum, Polygon, BSC, etc.).
• Test Web3 wallet integrations (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet).
• Validate smart contracts using Hardhat, Truffle, Remix IDE, and Blockchain Explorers (Etherscan, Polygonscan, BSCscan).
• Conduct API testing (REST, GraphQL, Web3 APIs) using Postman, Newman, and Insomnia.
• Automate UI & functional tests using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Perform mobile DApp testing using Appium.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and blockchain engineers to identify and resolve defects.
• Document test plans, strategies, and reports in Confluence/JIRA.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines for test automation (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in Blockchain/Web3.
• Strong understanding of smart contracts, wallets, and decentralized apps.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and API testing.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Strong UAT / Functional Test Lead Profiles

Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have minimum 7 years of overall testing experience, with at least 3 years of recent UAT experience, primarily in manual testing for large enterprise or government project

Mandatory (Experience 2): Must have worked on minimum 2 national-level e-Governance, public sector, enterprise, or marketplace projects in a UAT lead or ownership role

Mandatory (Experience 3): Must have 3+ years of team handling experience, leading 7–8 QA/UAT members, including task assignment, review, mentoring, and delivery ownership

Mandatory (Experience 4): Must have complete ownership of UAT activities, including UAT planning, execution, acceptance sign-off, defect management, retesting, and regression cycles.

Mandatory (Skills 1): Must have strong hands-on manual testing experience, with the ability to create test scenarios and test cases from BRDs, user stories, functional documents, and Figma/UI screens.

Mandatory (Skills 2): Must be able to understand HLD/LLD documents and API specifications and perform manual API testing based on business logic.

Mandatory (Education): Must have BE/BTech/MTech/MBA (BSc/BCA alone is not acceptable; with Bsc/BCA candidates must have a relevant postgraduate degree MCA/MTech)

Mandatory (Exclusion): Do not consider candidates with automation-heavy profiles or those lacking strong manual UAT and leadership experience

• The preparation of the companies QA manual control and supervision of all amendments and revisions
• Control and the distribution of all the companies quality documentation
• Monitor all quality related activities on the project
• Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the companies management
• Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals.
• Attend all pre-bid meetings and coordinate all project requirements with the project bidders.
• Attend client quality management meetings
• The preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement.
• Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements
• Monitor the disposition of all issued nonconformance reports.

Eligibility Criteria :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• ISTQB certification is desirable but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of any scripting or programming language is a plus.
