Role Expectation?
He/ she should be a post-graduate or graduate with at least 4 years of professional experience in a variety of business environments with hands on
knowledge of web testing. Candidates must have excellent analytical skills, good knowledge of project life cycles and the ability to work in a team
environment. He/she should have below skills:
Producing clear and concise test results, both detailed and summary.
Working with other testers and development teams to ensure the spread of good practices and knowledge.
Superior attention to detail, problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressure
Other duties as assigned
Skills Required
Good understanding of agile processes.
Identification / Review of test cases, test scenarios & test execution
Good understanding of testing web-based applications
Hands on experience in Data migration and interface testing
Defect Management Life Cycle.
Experience in Black box testing (System, System Integration & Regression testing concepts)
Experience in creating test plans & test design
Good communication, analytical and presentation skills, problem solving skills and learning attitude
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor & degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of at least one tool like QC or JIRA or any other similar tool

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications to ensure high-quality releases.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
- Perform database testing and write SQL queries to validate data in backend.
- Utilize Charles Proxy or similar tools(like DevTools) for network traffic analysis and debugging.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and clarify expectations.
- Document test cases, test plans, and report defects efficiently.
- Ensure good software quality standards and best practices.
- Lead and mentor junior testers if required.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong experience in API testing and database validation.
- Proficiency in SQL queries for data validation and debugging.
- Hands-on experience with web and mobile app testing.
- Ability to work with network proxy tools such as Charles Proxy.
