We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer with mid-level experience to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our platform and dashboards.

Role Overview:

The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the highest quality of Tese's platform and dashboards. This role requires a hands-on approach to testing, including manual and automated testing methods. The successful candidate will work closely with our development and product teams to identify issues, suggest improvements, and help maintain a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Strategy:
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Tese’s platform and dashboards, covering functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and design test strategies that ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Manual and Automated Testing:
• Execute manual tests to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks across the platform and dashboards.
• Implement and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools to streamline regression testing and ensure continuous integration.
• Defect Tracking and Reporting:
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues in the platform using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Monday.com).
• Work with the development team to prioritize and resolve issues, ensuring timely fixes and improvements.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Suggest enhancements to the existing QA processes, including test automation strategies and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest QA trends, tools, and technologies to ensure Tese’s QA practices remain cutting-edge.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and DevOps, to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
• Provide clear and concise test reports and feedback to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 4-7 years of experience in QA engineering, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit).
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend systems.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST-assured) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Experience with database testing, particularly in NoSQL environments.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues to both technical and non-technical team members.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience testing SAAS platforms with a focus on sustainability, or related fields.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• You will help the team in building a reliable, high-quality manual platform from scratch and test all of Truemeds’ products for quality & stability
• You will help the team to set up test environments for manual activities.
• You will be responsible for using the latest technologies to design and maintain manual testing for existing and new products
• Manage efficiently a team of QA Engineers
• Coach and grow our manual QA team members through mentorship, and participate in the hiring strategy and process
• You will be responsible for reliability for major products/releases and ensure all the product gets QA sign-off before release
• Check/review test cases, test plans, and test strategies and consolidate and share test results with various stakeholders.
• Ensuring all development tasks meet quality criteria through efficient test planning, test execution, quality assurance, and issue tracking.
• You will have to estimate, plan, and coordinate testing activities and Work closely on the deadlines of the project
• Ensure the team is focusing on automation along with manual testing.
• You will be a technology champion/mentor, and work with others to effectively use new technology to build effective testing campaigns

Requirements

• 8+ years of software testing experience, 2+ years of management or mentoring experience
• 1 to 2 years of working experience in performance testing and load testing
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience performing cross-browser testing using any automation testing framework
• Experience in manual testing of Mobile Native applications.
• Deep knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging
• Experience managing a team of QA Engineers
• Good understanding of the eCommerce Domain
• Solid understanding of SQL and API testing experience doing data quality testing with large data sets
• Excellent communication as well as documentation skills

About The Role

CapitalNow.in technical team is seeking a hands-onQA Engineer with a noted experience on Manual Mobile Application, API Testing  and has the knowledge on Database.. The technical team is responsible for developing the supported mobile application and web app for customers and a control panel for the marketing team involved in CapitalNow.in.

Responsibilities

• Involved in Product discussions and discussions on impact analysis.
• Writing Test cases and Test scenarios for the application and passing QA for regular updates.
• Daily sanity checks to ensure that the product is working as expected.
• Assured quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domains.

Essential Qualifications

*Proven Manual testing experience is a must.

About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)

Responsibilities

Excellent command of Manual Testing and Automation Testing (Any tool).

Good knowledge of UI automation using Selenium or equivalent

Experience working with defect management tools like JIRA Well versed with all types of testing artifacts.

• Work closely with the Delivery Manager and Sales team to understand client and project requirements and define the scope of the project.
• Prepare test strategy to deliver to the agreed scope within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Work with Delivery Manager and Resource Management Group to build the necessary team, either from the available internal pool or support hiring.
• Work with the Delivery Manager to develop the testing strategy.
• Understand the project delivery governance framework and ensure test planning, execution, and closure are done in accordance with the delivery framework.
• Prepare test plans to include timelines for activities and key milestones.
• Lead a team of 4-5 test engineers and work alongside test architects and SMEs.
• Work allocation to team members and monitoring performance and ensure completion of tasks by team members to agreed timelines.
• Coordinate system/application understanding sessions for team members with relevant client team member(s).
• Work with test architects to design, develop and maintain test automation framework, where required.
• Develop test automation suites, along with team members.
• Review output of team members for test coverage (functional) and in case of test automation framework and suites, review for adherence to good and efficient coding practices and coding standards, reusability, avoid redundancy and duplicity.
• Raise PRs and check-in code and in the process resolve any conflicts and sync issues.
• Ensure efficient versioning and maintenance of test automation code.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical and non-technical challenges and blockers faced by team members.
• Coaching and leading in practices like Pair Programming, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD), Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD).
• Be the go-to person / first point of contact for any project-related queries or concerns, for both client and internal stakeholders.
• Preparation and distribution of periodic project progress mails and reports to the client and internal stakeholders.
• Risk management – early identification of risks and mitigation, and where required invoke relevant and timely escalation and support.
• Preparation and/or review of documentation, required across all phases of the project.
• Mentor and guide team members in helping them grow professionally.
• Provide feedback about team members to the Delivery Manager for periodic performance appraisal.

Qualification and mandatory experience

• Graduate or Post-graduate, an engineering graduate is desirable but not mandatory.
• Minimum 7 years of total experience in manual and automation testing of which at least 3 years as a hands-on Test Lead with proven experience of leading at least a 3-member team.

Mandatory Skills

• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, processes, and tools for manual and automation testing.
• At least 3 years proven experience of leading a minimum 3-member team in manual and automation testing.
• Experience of working in an Agile environment and delivering in sprints.
• At least 3+ years designing, developing, and maintaining Test Automation frameworks and solutions across various technology stacks and applications for web, mobile, API, and data validation.
• Expert level experience in at least one programming language, Java is preferable but not mandatory
• Expert level experience in debugging.
• Expert level experience in developing web UI test automation suite using Selenium or mobile UI test automation suite using Appium.
• Expert level experience in developing API test automation suite using Rest Assured.
• Raise PRs and merge test automation code.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines.
• Experience in at least one build tool like Jenkins, Maven or Gradle and setting up a build pipeline and integrated testing.
• Code management using Github or SVN.
• Test and defect management using JIRA or any other tool.
• Preparation of test documentation across various phases
• Preparation and distribution of periodic progress reports to internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication are quintessential.

Desirable Skills

• Junit and TestNG for unit testing.
• Espresso for Android app automation.
• XCUI test for iOS app automation.
• Experience in non-functional testing, e.g., load/soak/performance, security, and accessibility, by using standard and new testing techniques.
• Experience in testing applications across eCommerce, banking, and fintech domains.
