We’re a technology-enabled performing arts learning startup currently in stealth mode. Our
mission is to transform the way India learns & creates performing arts. Our target public launch date is April. Our launch services consist of technology-enabled dance classes in our proprietary studios, production facilities, and social media broadcasting & competitions.
Founding Team.
The founder is Shariq Plasticwala. He is a graduate of IIT Bombay & Stanford GSB. He was part of the founding team of Amazon India where he played a key role for over 8 years. Among his roles at Amazon, he was the CEO of Amazon’s first joint venture in India and a Board Member of Amazon’s payments business. The other members of the founding team are experienced senior leaders from Shiamak Davar’s & Byju’s.
Role
The responsibilities of the role are per the below:
● Managing & monitoring system performance and ensuring reliability and availability
● Installing, configuring and maintaining operating systems, application software
● Anticipating & troubleshooting systems related issues
● Continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies
● Liaising with 3rd party vendors, IT providers, etc. for support where required
● Providing Level 2 and 3 support

Experience, Qualifications & Person Type
The ideal candidate is someone who –
● 2+ years of experience in Managing system
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

● Possess a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
● Have prior experience as a Systems Engineer
● Experience in supporting multiple applications and network environments
● Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting live streaming based environments

About the team
Are you an SRE with excellent Observability, Containerization and Orchestration skills? As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) in the Smarsh SaaS Operations team, you'll be part of a team who measures and improves production performance reliability through sustainable engineering practices for our suite of applications. Toil will be your number one enemy, observability your closest friend and your mission will be to drive operational burden as close to zero as you can.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for technical direction at the platform solutions level. Is able to weigh the pros and cons of various solutions and credibly argue for the best path
- Work closely with Product Management and the rest of the engineering team to define features and their implementations with careful attention to quality, scalability, and maintainability
- Can break down complex technical solutions into abstractions that the rest of the team and understand
- Can investigate and solve complex bugs, performance, and scalability issues
- Collaborates with multiple agile teams to ensure their solutions integrate effectively
- Track work in ticketing system (JIRA)

JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
- Track key metrics including retention, monetization, virality and general engagement. Provide various product and user insights to optimize the metrics and drive key business decisions
- Research into market data as well as user demographics to make well-informed decisions on future business strategies, product roadmap and production roadmap
- Bring expertise in your product areas and conduct rigorous A/B tests and data analysis to help improve customer experiences and identify profitable growth opportunities
- Managing various real-time reports and help stakeholders translate reports and data into actionable insights. This includes:
- P&L, LTV, virality and user behaviour reports with Product Team
- App performance, programming bugs with Tech Team
- User Acquisition and cost reports with Marketing Team and more
Skills Required
- 7+ years of analytics experience in a consumer internet business with exceptional quantitative skills
- 2+ years of experience in product analytics
- Experience in analytical methods (like ANOVA, Distribution theory, regression, forecasting, Machine Learning Techniques, etc.) is a plus
