🔹 Role Summary

The OT Cybersecurity Engineer plays a key role in securing Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (IACS) environments. This role contributes to secure-by-design architectures, cybersecurity frameworks, and enterprise-level risk management, supporting Chevron’s global cybersecurity strategy.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Support OT/IACS cybersecurity initiatives & programs
• Design & review secure OT network architectures and data flows
• Define secure-by-design standards & guardrails
• Work with protocols, ports, applications, and services security
• Apply frameworks like:
• NIST 800-53 / 82
• IEC 62443
• MITRE ATT&CK / D3FEND
• Collaborate across enterprise IT, digital platforms, and OT business units
• Perform risk assessments, vulnerability analysis & mitigation planning

🔹 Required Qualifications

🎓 Education

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in:
• IT / Computer Science / Engineering / STEM (Preferred)

📜 Certifications (Preferred)

• GISCP, GCIP, CISSP
• OT/IACS vendor-specific certifications
• SAFe / Agile certifications (Nice to have)

🔹 Required Experience

• 2+ years in OT/ICS Cybersecurity
• Hands-on exposure to:
• Critical infrastructure (Energy/Oil & Gas preferred)
• OT environments & control systems

We are looking for a Staff Engineer - PHP to join one of our engineering teams at our office in Hyderabad.

What would you do?

• Design, build, and maintain backend systems and APIs from requirements to production.
• Own feature development, bug fixes, and performance optimizations.
• Ensure code quality, security, testing, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and QA teams for smooth delivery.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues and drive long-term fixes.
• Contribute to technical discussions and continuously improve engineering practices.

Who Should Apply?

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in backend development using PHP.
• Strong proficiency with Laravel or similar PHP frameworks, following OOP, MVC, and design patterns.
• Solid experience in RESTful API development and third-party integrations.
• Strong understanding of SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL); NoSQL exposure is a plus.
• Comfortable with Git-based workflows and collaborative development.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
• Experience with performance optimization, security best practices, and debugging.
• Nice to have: exposure to Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and automated testing.

• Enterprise Network Implementation for Global Enterprise customers.
• Extensive experience in a network implementation environment gained in an ISP or telco or enterprise environment.
• Good technical knowledge and practical experience of BGP, OSPF routing protocols & switching technology.
• Conversant in best practices appropriate to network design and security.
• Understanding of hardware and software performance and scaling limitations.
• Network implementation, and management using Cisco Routers & switches ( Nexus & Catalyst), Juniper M and T series routers, and Aruba Wireless.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – confidence and professionalism both in working with multinational project teams and with clients on various levels of the organisation, from technical audiences to senior management
• Analytical and critical thinking; innovative problem-solving capability for complex customer requirements
• Ability to work under pressure from both customers and internal stakeholders and produce solution designs that are deliverable

Experience:
• A minimum of 4 years’ total experience in the areas of Networking and Telecommunications technologies
• At least 2 years’ experience in dealing with large, corporate customers in a technical solution Implementation profile.
