🔧 Key Responsibilities

● Collaborate with software engineering teams to define infrastructure requirements, drive best practices in reliability, monitoring, incident response, and automation, ensuring seamless integration and optimal

performance of applications and systems

● Lead and mentor a team of SREs, providing technical guidance and

support to ensure the ongoing reliability and performance of our systems

● Play a key role in driving the automation, tools, and observability initiatives, assuming ownership of designing and implementing scalable and efficient solutions.

● Leading the response to production incidents, conducting comprehensive learning reviews, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and actively participating in an on-call rotation, fostering a culture of learning, resilience, and ongoing enhancement within our systems.

● Establish and drive operations performance through SLOs

● Demonstrate proficiency in technical skills, exhibit an expert-level understanding of relevant technologies and tools, and use this knowledge to mentor and support team members, helping them improve their skills and succeed in their roles.

✅ Required Skills & Experience

● At least 10 + years of experience designing, building & maintaining SAAS environments

● 8+ years of experience designing, building & maintaining AWS/AZURE infrastructure with Terraform

● 5+ years of experience building and running Kubernetes clusters

● Strong experience working with data platform infrastructure.

● Experience with coding in a high-level programming language like Python, Go (Golang). Knowledge of writing shell scripts, SQL queries.

● Experience with observability (monitoring – logging, tracing, metrics)

● Experience with SQL/NoSQL database technologies.

● Experience with GitOps and CI/CD processes is a plus

● Experience with security operations – security policies, infrastructure, key management, setup of encryption at rest and transport.

● Experience in mentoring and fostering the professional development of team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.

Senior Software Engineer

Role

As a senior software engineer, you will contribute to our end to end supply chain platform. You'll work with all key stakeholders to deliver scalable, maintainable backend code and work with frontend developers to deliver amazing user experiences. • Analyse requirements, provide estimates and deliver code in an agile setup

Must have

• Prior startup experience, preferably with war stories to share
• 4-6 years of software industry experience
• Solid understanding of software design, development, testing, and problem-solving 
• Expertise in coding efficient, high quality and modularized software 
• Expertise in JavaScript, node.js based backend development
• Expertise in common design patterns and anti-patterns in Javascript
• Experience in building and scaling service-oriented architecture and microservices
• Expertise in relational and non-relational databases and expertise in at least one database system
• Experience with planning, execution and maintenance of test infrastructure for backend workflows
• Experience with CI/CD and setting up a monitoring infrastructure
• Knowledge of AWS, specifically building scalable cloud-native architectures using services like Lambda, AWS Gateway, Aurora, etc
• Knowledge of Unix shell and source control systems and tools such as git 
• Strong technical leadership skills
• Strong communication skills
• Technical mentoring skills

• Experience with GraphQL, meteor.js and other modern JS ecosystems

Technical Competencies

• Strong Java/J2EE development experience with demonstrated ability to develop and troubleshoot large mission applications & Software Products
• Experience on exception handling, correct use of data structures, multi-threaded programming, memory management and application tuning
• Excellent exposure in Object Oriented Design skills using Java/J2ee along with:
• Core Java Language (Collections, Concurrency/Multithreading)
• JDBC concepts (connection pooling, statement, result set)
• Web Technologies (Struts/Struts 2, Spring (IOP, MVC, AOP), Hibernate, JSP, Web services)
• Database optimization and profiling

We are seeking a Software Design Engineer with hands-on design skills and exceptional unit testing experience. This person will be responsible to design, develop and troubleshoot software programs for laboratory medical device new product development. The incumbent practices and propagates engineering practices on design principles, code quality, refactoring and unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Prototype, design, refactor, implement, unit test Windows based software applications
• Participate in cross-functional project teams to refactor and design software
• Work with multi-discipline teams on new product introduction project while adhering to software development and source control processes
• Document software, write technical specifications for interfaces and testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field with no less than 8+ years of experience
• Expert architecting, designing and developing C++/C# based solutions
• Strong software design skills - expert in OOA/OOD development methodologies, software design principles and design patterns
• Experience in Agile development processes and philosophies.
• History of driving project execution and timely delivery while ensuring a quality focus

• Experience working with Docker / Containerization technologies is a big plus

• Experience in IVD instrumentation, such as clinical chemistry, immunoassay, hematology, urinalysis, molecular, microbiology or flow cytometry systems is a plus
• Understanding of software development processes for a regulated environment (ISO9000/FDA) is a plus
