Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities & Activities

1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis

○ Engage with clients to understand their business processes and objectives.

○ Conduct in-depth analysis of client requirements to identify specific needs.

○ Provide process consulting by mapping ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ processes to ensure maximum utilization of standard Odoo features.

2. Odoo Setup & Configuration

○ Set up Odoo environments based on the customer’s hosting preferences.

○ Configure Odoo applications to align with client-specific business workflows.

○ Set up companies, users, and access rights based on organizational structure and security needs.

3. Functional Architecting (for Customization Requirements)

○ Conduct GAP analysis to identify business requirements that necessitate custom development.

○ Define functional workflows for business processes requiring customization.

○ Draft user stories or detailed functional specifications to guide the technical team.

4. Data Migration

○ Plan and execute data migration strategies from legacy systems to Odoo.

○ Perform data imports (via templates or scripts) and validate data accuracy post-migration.

○ Troubleshoot and resolve any data-related discrepancies.

5. Training

○ Conduct end-user training sessions on both standard and customized Odoo features.

○ Develop training materials and user documentation for effective onboarding.

○ Provide ongoing support and address user queries during the training phase.

6. Testing

○ Perform functional testing to ensure quality before delivering features to the client.

○ Support clients during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and follow up to ensure completion.

○ Define success criteria for user stories involving development or customization.

7. Go-live

○ Plan and execute cutover activities for go-live.

○ Ensure smooth transition and provide immediate support during the go-live period.

○ Maintain high availability and responsiveness during this critical phase.

8. Support

○ Provide ongoing support to end-users after implementation.

○ Resolve functional issues and respond to support requests promptly.

○ Ensure service levels are maintained in accordance with agreed SLAs.

9. Documentation

○ Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specifications (FSDs/User Stories).

○ Prepare user guides and manuals for custom-developed features. ○ Ensure documentation remains up-to-date with ongoing changes and improvements.

10. Stakeholder Communication

○ Maintain proactive and transparent communication with clients regarding project progress.

○ Conduct regular project review meetings to ensure alignment with client expectations.

11. Project Management

○ Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation.

○ Utilize Aktiv's project management system for tracking tasks and logging timesheets.

12. Team Collaboration

○ Work closely with developers, technical leads, and other consultants to deliver integrated solutions.

○ Participate in regular internal meetings to align project activities.

○ Support the sales team during pre-sales by providing expert consultation.

13. Strategic Involvement

○ Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for internal processes & systems and project delivery standards.

○ Assist in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

○ Mentor junior consultants or business analysts and support their development through structured training plans.

• 3-7 years of experience of professional experience with proven track record of designing world class products
• A stunning portfolio with detailed case studies
• Focused on the customer and has experience using design research methodsto learn about the customer

• Being able to think about product strategy at a high level and clearly break it down into design deliverables
• A good grasp of the UX methodology and lifecycle across all major channels and platforms
• Assume full responsibility for the design process and participate in it as an independently led member of a design team
• Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail; Excellent knowledge of clean user interface design and Prototyping skills
• Should be well versed in best practises while designing in Figma and design to developer hand-off
• Strong command over developer guidelines across platforms and web
• Capable of gaining trust and managing your peers in order to provide a satisfying experience with the product

Key  Responsibilities :

• Development of proprietary processes and procedures designed to process various data streams around critical databases in the org
• Manage technical resources around data technologies, including relational databases, NO SQL DBs, business intelligence databases, scripting languages, big data tools and technologies, visualization tools.
• Creation of a project plan including timelines and critical milestones to success in support of the project
• Identification of the vital skill sets/staff required to complete the project
• Identification of crucial sources of the data needed to achieve the objective.

Skill Requirement :

• Experience with data pipeline processes and tools
• Well versed in the Data domains (Data Warehousing, Data Governance, MDM, Data Quality, Data Catalog, Analytics, BI, Operational Data Store, Metadata, Unstructured Data, ETL, ESB)
• Experience with an existing ETL tool e.g Informatica and Ab initio etc
• Deep understanding of big data systems like Hadoop, Spark, YARN, Hive, Ranger, Ambari
• Deep knowledge of Qlik ecosystems like  Qlikview, Qliksense, and Nprinting
• Python, or a similar programming language
• Exposure to data science and machine learning
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment

Job Description for Drools developer -

• Hands on experience in design and development in Drools rule engine (minimum 1.5 years) and Core Java
• Exceptional ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical people
• Expertise in object oriented programming
• Experience in Deploying and supporting core and advanced features
• Good exposure to SQL and/or Oracle/ MySQL,
• Candidate should be well verse with Agile processes
• Strong ability to work collaboratively across diverse groups of business and technical stakeholders is required.

Delivery Manager

Job Description

1. Review customer orders and plan and coordinate in the execution of projects and manage the client accounts
2. Develop scope and budget for projects
3. Ability to understand all technical aspects of the project and its requirements, articulate and communicate the same to internal stakeholders
4. Work with the Presales team to define the technical specification for features and functionalities and also determine the effort associated
5. Hands-on experience in creating SDD, SRS, Gantt Charts, etc.
6. Work closely with Engineering, Solutioning and Platform teams during requirement gathering and documentation phase to understand establish the scope of development work in projects
7. Provide suggestions on implementation approach, limitations/complexity around implementation with respect to the platform used, and recommendations for alternative solutions
8. Perform resource allocations and workload assignments according to project requirements.
9. Report project status to customers and develop required project documentation.
10. Serve as primary contact across all the projects being handled and concerns in assigned accounts

Must have skills:

1. 8+ years of experience leading and delivering projects to high standards and managing high-value accounts
2. Basic understanding of application development technologies like Python, ML, API Integration, etc.
3. Good understanding of server/storage configuration, API Integration, Cloud deployment, and configuration
4. Should have experience working with large government clients and/or large enterprises in BFSI, eCommerce, Healthcare, Retail, and other such verticals
5. Proven track record of building positive and productive working relationships with customers for business growth
6. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues in a timely fashion
7. Ability to identify process improvements to achieve cost-effectiveness and time-saving
8. Proven ability to operate with authority and take critical business decisions to meet customer expectations.
9. Should have exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) in English
