Who You Are:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Analyst with a deep expertise in utilizing Google Sheets to extract insights, optimize processes, and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
As a Senior Business Analyst specializing in Google Sheets, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our products by leveraging your advanced analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of Google Sheets functionalities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and interpret data, translating it into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and enhance our product offerings.
What You Will Do:
- Google Sheets Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert in Google Sheets, showcasing proficiency in advanced functions, data manipulation, visualization, and automation to enhance reporting and analysis capabilities.
- Reporting and Dashboards: Develop and maintain dynamic reports, interactive dashboards, and KPI tracking mechanisms using Google Sheets. Ensure that key stakeholders have access to real-time insights that drive actionable outcomes.
- Data Analysis: Collect, interpret, and analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner that supports data-driven decision-making.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with teams across the organization to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in existing processes. Utilize Google Sheets to design and implement streamlined workflows, automations, and data validation mechanisms.
- Strategic Insights: Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis to support business growth, enhance customer experiences, and optimize product offerings.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Customer Success, Product Managers, Marketing, and Sales, teams to understand their data needs, align on objectives, and deliver valuable insights to support their initiatives.
- Data Integrity and Governance: Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and security within Google Sheets documents. Establish best practices for data organization, naming conventions, and version control.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role within a SaaS environment.
- Exceptional proficiency in Google Sheets, including advanced functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, array formulas), data visualization, and scripting (Google Apps Script).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience in process optimization and automation using Google Sheets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with other data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau) is a plus.
