Yapsody India is hiring a Project Coordinator. The position is accountable for managing and coordinating resources and processes to deliver software releases of Yapsody products, while participating in facilitating the strategy for the product development team by driving initiatives that deliver on the Yapsody vision. We are seeking a team-player who enjoys working within a fast-paced environment, applies sound judgment in successful task planning and execution, meets deadlines and communicates the highest standards of professionalism in his/ her work habits. Job Responsibilities • Work together with the Business Owner/ Stake Holder to plan and execute projects, ensure that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively by establishing realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlines • Work closely with development, quality control teams in order to get estimation and plan of delivery • Report to Business Owners on project scheduling, project updates, delays, resource allocation/availability, and any issue that may impact risk and health of the business • Schedule and conduct release meetings and weekly demos of work-in-progress • Advocate on behalf of Business Owner to ensure that maximum productivity is achieved for the Company • Ensure that proper and thorough technical product documentation is captured and made available to the team • Coordinate release and sprint planning • Conduct daily scrum meetings • Utilize efficient process to ensure minimal resource wastage • Coordinate releases with marketing and support teams to ensure smooth product launches with proper information and resources available to customers • Assess all members of engineering team and make recommendations related to resource utilizations • Monitor and maintain individual employees' performance Qualifications o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field o Must have atleast 2 years' experience working through the design, development, release cycle and delivering software products to market o Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) o Strong project management skills, time management, and problem-solving skills o Experience with managing the development of SaaS and cloud-based applications, preferred o Experience with Scrum methodology and Agile practices, preferred o High command of verbal and written English Interpersonal skills • Self-motivated, team player, action and results oriented • Well organized, good communication and reporting skills • Ability to successfully work under tight project deadlines
