
The Recruitment Administrator will support the recruitment and mobilisation process for construction operatives working on UK projects. The role involves maintaining accurate recruitment records, coordinating compliance documentation, supporting onboarding administration, and assisting with labour mobilisation activities.
The position requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage recruitment systems, compliance documentation, and workforce tracking. The Recruitment Administrator will work closely under the guidance of HR Executive and collaborate with Operations and on site teams.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Administration
- Maintain candidate and operative records in Zoho Recruit ensuring all mandatory fields and documents are complete and updated.
- Manage stage-based recruitment verification updates including document uploads, role tags, and mobilisation status updates.
- Support job opening administration in Zoho Recruit and publish approved vacancies on designated job boards.
- Maintain organised candidate documentation and recruitment records for audit readiness.
Compliance & Documentation
- Collect and verify compliance documents including:
- Right to Work documentation
- ID verification
- Role-specific qualifications or tickets
- Track document expiry dates and follow up with candidates for renewals.
- Escalate missing, incomplete, or invalid documentation to the reporting manager.
Onboarding & Contract Administration
- Support onboarding and contract documentation for operatives including:
- Issue onboarding documentation and follow up for completion and signatures.
- Ensure all required documentation is completed prior to onboarding.
Operational & Workforce Coordination
- Maintain internal trackers and master sheets for Operatives.
- Track and maintain records for:
- Site passes / access passes
- PPE kit allocation
- Holiday tracking for operatives
- Support coordination and documentation for Labour / Operations meetings.
- Provide weekly operatives status updates.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to AI tools.
- Experience with HR systems such as Zoho Recruit, Zoho People, or similar ATS platforms.
- Familiarity with construction workforce mobilisation processes in the UK.
- Familiarity with Punjabi Language
