Sales Team Leader – Loan Industry

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and performance-oriented Sales Team Leader with strong

experience in the loan and DSA (Direct Selling Agent) ecosystem. This role involves

leading a team of loan sales executives to meet sales targets through DSAs and direct

sourcing. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in the loans industry, a

strong understanding of credit and documentation, and the ability to drive high-

performing sales strategies. The Sales Team Leader will also be responsible for

coaching the team, maintaining compliance, and achieving monthly business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Team Leadership & Target Achievement

• Lead and supervise a team of sales executives across loan products (Personal,

Business, Home Loans, etc.).

• Set and monitor individual and team sales targets.
• Motivate and guide the team toward consistent achievement of targets and

productivity.

B. Channel & DSA Management• Source business through DSA channels, referrals

• Build and maintain strong relationships with DSAs and other sales partners.
• Ensure proper onboarding and training of new DSAs and agents.

C. Sales Execution & Customer Management

• Guide the team through the sales process – from lead generation to file login and

disbursal.

• Resolve escalations and ensure smooth customer experience throughout the

loan lifecycle.

• Support in documentation and KYC collection processes.

D. Reporting & Coordination

• Monitor and review daily sales activities, pipeline status, and lead conversions.
• Prepare MIS reports and daily dashboards for internal tracking and review.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Credit, and Disbursement) for

smooth process flow.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 2–4 years in loan sales with strong exposure to DSA

models

• Proven experience in products like Personal Loans, Business Loans, or Home Loans
• Strong communication, leadership, and field sales skills
• Basic understanding of credit processes and financial documentation
• Comfortable with achieving aggressive monthly sales targets

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models from scratch to production level, focusing on building robust data-driven products. You will work closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure our AI-driven solutions meet the needs of our users and align with the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models and algorithms to support product development.
• Work on the end-to-end lifecycle of data science projects, including data collection, preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and product taxonomy.
• Design and build scalable data pipelines and systems to support real-time data processing and analysis.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of data used for modeling and analytics.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed models, making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal results.
• Implement best practices for data governance, privacy, and security.
• Document processes, methodologies, and technical solutions to maintain transparency and reproducibility.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field, with a track record of developing and deploying products from scratch to production.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with data analysis and machine learning libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
• Proficiency in building and optimizing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data storage solutions.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Strong understanding of statistics, data analysis, and machine learning concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience in building taxonomy for data products.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

 Provisioning and de-provisioning AWS accounts for internal customers

 Work alongside systems and development teams to support the transition and operation of client websites/applications in and out of AWS.

 Deploying, managing, and operating AWS environments

 Identifying appropriate use of AWS operational best practices

 Estimating AWS costs and identifying operational cost control mechanisms

 Keep technical documentation up to date

 Proactively keep up to date on AWS services and developments

 Create (where appropriate) automation, in order to streamline provisioning and de-provisioning processes

 Lead certain data/service migration projects

Job Requirements

 Experience provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems running on AWS

 Experience with Azure/AWS.

 Capabilities to provide AWS operations and deployment guidance and best practices throughout the lifecycle of a project

 Experience with application/data migration to/from AWS

 Experience with NGINX and the HTTP protocol.

 Experience with configuration and management software such as GIT  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

 Deployment experience using common AWS technologies like VPC, and regionally distributed EC2 instances, Docker, and more.

 Ability to work in a collaborative environment

The Role

Provides project leadership to team on small to medium-sized projects in areas such as product development, research, process development and organizational development. Work collaboratively with Project Management Leader to run the projects smoothly and Keeps management and stakeholders informed of schedules, priorities, and problems. Prepares and executes translation projects. Does not typically have management responsibilities such as hiring, performance appraisals, and pay reviews; however, may assist with such decisions and activities.

• Leads project team to ensure that projects are completed on time and according to requirements.
• Continuously monitors progress and risks and promptly acts to resolve issues, escalating if needed.
• Facilitates communication upward and across project teams including project status, risks, justifications for variances.
• Serves as a focal point for other departments on project status or other project information.
• Develops, maintains and communicates Project Plans and executes projects according to the developed plans.
• Performs Internationalization and translation project intakes and coordinates findings with development teams.
• Performs technical translation project preparations, project execution and translation deliveries.
• Assigns project team and/or ensures that the project team assigned has skills and qualifications needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering or computer science, or equivalent.
• Overall 5 - 7 Years of experience in Project management.
• Required 2-5 years of technical experience in software development and/or software project management and/or translation project management.
• Ability to prioritize projects and activities to ensure completion of projects on time and within budget.
• Good management skills with knowledge of software translation processes and their interdependence.
• Good knowledge of translation processes like technical preparation, translation execution, QA.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, decision making and communications skills.
• Excellent skills in presentation/spreadsheet/collaboration software.  
• Familiar with Project Management tools.
• Excellent English skills, verbal and written. Fluent in at least one other language.

• Create, maintain and automate datasets and insightful dashboards to track core metrics and extract business insights
• Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data to identify business opportunities and optimize features for Analytics.

• 8+ years experience doing Business Intelligence and Analytics work
• B.Tech/M.Tech in a technical field (Computer Science, Math, Statistics)
• Strong knowledge in Data Design, Data Modelling, and Data Validation best practices
• Proficient in data visualization, Preferably SSRS & Power BI
• Fluency with writing advanced SQL code
• Experience with SQL Server Administration and best practices
• Possess BFSI, Fintech Domain Knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal, cross-functional, communication, writing, and presentation skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to be a team player
