• A strong Portfolio in any of the one categories; a consumer-facing App/SAAS/,  B2B enterprise software.  

• An outstanding portfolio showcasing a foundation in typography, interaction and visual design, and ideation.

• you have technical expertise in wire-framing, interface design, and user flows

• Sound understanding of design components and Their use cases.

• Proficiency with design tools such as Sketch, Invision, XD, Figma, and Overflow. Knowledge of UI Animation will be a plus

Job brief

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to turn our software into easy-to-use products for our clients. UI/UX Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements, and building navigation components. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our clients’ needs and help us grow our customer base.

Responsibilities

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
• Design graphics user interfaces elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images

Requirements

• Portfolio of design projects (does not matter if the project is not live)
• Knowledge of Designing tools (e.g. Figma )
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative design projects.
• High proficiency in Figma is a must. The candidate should be able to create complex design systems, use auto-layout effectively, and leverage Figma's interactive components for prototyping.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the design process from ideation to development; including wireframing, prototyping, user testing, and final implementation.
• Experience in conducting user interviews, surveys, and usability studies. The ability to empathize with users, understand their problems, and translate their needs into effective UI/UX solutions.
• Demonstrable skills in ideation, sketching, and creating low-fidelity wireframes for early-stage idea exploration.
• It is an added advantage to have familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for close collaboration with our development team.
• A keen understanding of mobile-first and responsive design. You should be able to create designs that work well on any device and screen size.
• Excellent visual design skills, including but not limited to, composition, layout, color theory, and typography.
• Ability to conduct user research, usability testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis and assess user feedback to deliver world-class design solutions.
• Demonstrated experience using data, user feedback, and market analysis to inform design decisions.
• A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Exceptional communication skills for articulating design decisions to team members and stakeholders.
• Experience using additional design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or Sketch.
• Knowledge of prototyping tools.
• Certification in UX design from a reputable institution.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
