Job brief

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to turn our software into easy-to-use products for our clients. UI/UX Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements, and building navigation components. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our clients’ needs and help us grow our customer base.

Responsibilities

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
• Design graphics user interfaces elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images

Requirements

• Portfolio of design projects (does not matter if the project is not live)
• Knowledge of Designing tools (e.g. Figma )
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Good time-management skills

3. Build wireframes and storyboards to conceptualize design
4. Define visual elements, product elements, and overall design
5. Taking design briefs to understand requirements
6. Effectively communicate your designs to developers and other key stakeholders
7. Create and implement interaction models and user interface specifications
8. Conduct industry research and stay up-to-date on best practices, competitor UI designs, and emerging technologies
9. Conduct, observe and analyze usability testing sessions
10. Conduct user testing of applications, software, and websites
11. Develop consistent, intuitive architectures
12. Support the QA team to make sure features are implemented in the coded version as intended
13. Determine timeline and deliverables
14. Evaluate and set best practices and standards
15. Work with UI managers and team to define user flows and sitemaps
16. Measure the human-computer interaction (HCI) element of a design
17. Collaborate on scenarios, end-to-end experiences, and screen designs
18. Work with frontend and backend developers as needed

JOB SUMMARY

Work on the website, enterprise applications (multichannel), embedded product UI’s

•  Translate high-level design requirements into wireframes and engaging, intuitive, and functional user interfaces
•  Ability to execute visual designs at all stages of the project. From conceptual to finalization and handover
•  Ability to create visual design concepts, style guides, and design documents
•  Conduct expert/heuristic evaluation reviews of the products and services. Providing design recommendations.
•  Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to implement innovative solutions
•  Work closely with the developer team, manage and maintain designs to meet customer needs, validate and ensure delivering world-class experiences
•  Participate in design discussions and collaborative sessions with teams and stakeholders, offering and providing feedback on concepts and ideas to evolve the experience
•  Create mood boards, mind maps and be a part of brainstorming sessions
•  Deliver high fidelity schematics, workflows, interaction storyboards, and design deliverables that guide creative, content, and development efforts
•  Be a productive and additive teammate, actively helping leaders and peers to raise the bar while also capitalizing on ideas from others
•  Knowledge of Mobile, Tablet, and Desktop design constraints and patterns

• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe XD, Illustrator, and photoshop.

• Good time management skills.
• Thinker and problem-solving skills.

• Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to the client.
• Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity with user-friendliness to the complex design.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements.
• Conduct ongoing user research.

• Translate ideas into concepts, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
• Work with a cross-functional team of engineers, content writers, and product managers to anticipate and identify user needs and align product goals with the user's goals.
• Come up with features and improvements that you can ship quickly and measure for effectiveness.
• Design and discover workflows that allow you to test designs early and often, and then iterate upon feedback.
• Identify new product opportunities, inform launch decisions, and product improvements.
• Use and evolve our internal design libraries and design system.
• Work closely with engineers and other partners to ensure what is shipped is true to your design work.
• Help with hiring and establishing a design culture within the company by evangelizing thoughtful design and its impact on the bottom-line.
• Directly contribute to the overall product and design direction of the whole company.

• You have an online portfolio that documents your work and thinking process - or a PDF would do too. (If not, you might be asked to take a design assignment)
• You have a high bar for your work and the team.

• You have solid Visual Design, UI, and Interaction Design chops.

Requirement:

• 1 to 2 years’ experience on developing apps or games
• Passionate about games as well as creating digital assets.
• Should be understanding of current mobile platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and other Adobe Creative Cloud tools etc.
• Should be fast in execution with Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
• Should be understanding of popular mobile, casual, and social games.
• Willing to work in a game product Startup company.
